SCIENCE MUSEUM, Khanapara Guwahati

Great place to be with your family and kids. You're kids gonna love this place. Parking area is small. You need to buy Extra ticket for 3D hall and coal mine at the gate while buying entry ticket. The prehistoric area is even better for the kids. It's not overly crowded that's a good thing. There is a small restaurant like shop inside the campus. Overall it's a nice place to spend some quality time with your family and kids.

Perfect place for school students. Place is full of kids and their parents. A beautiful aquarium is placed where different species of fishes are kept. The building is surrounded by a park. There are too many seasonal flowers are blooming which has enhanced the beauty of this place. In the park, a pond also available where some local fishes are kept. Benches are arranged for siiting in the park area. Inside the museum, one canteen also available. Nice, clean place 👍

many things are available to explore and learn for students specially.... for children there are many options... you can visit the place with friends as well as family... there are some 3D and 5D shows which are in very reasonable price .. stay till 6 pm and explore the whole museum... i will definitely visit again

Established in the year 1994, Regional Science Museum is located in Khanapara, Guwahati. It is one of the many educational institutes in the state and was built to promote, enlighten, and educate people about prehistoric times and science and technology.The centre remains open from 9. 30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all days except on Holi and Diwali. 2. Entry fees is INR 30 per visitor.

A very informative place to visit. Though it was very crowded. Some things are under construction. Overall good experience.

Many new things have been installed here. It is a nice place for family outings, for kids to play and learn new things. Some of the instruments doesn't work. The outside play area is big and kids enjoy a lot. Though I would like to beseech the management to take care of the washrooms. Since people spend a lot of time here, they are bound to use the toilet. So kindly keep it clean.

The food in the canteen was good.

Good place for kids. To understand about science everyone mast visit this place.

For the first time i had visited this museum in the year of 2017, at that time i was very curious and excited to visit this museum once... I can say this is a heaven for the science lovers who loves to do different experiments.. Every single thing is well defined and clearly explain the reason behind the science... And for the second time i visited in 2023... And i found numerous changes.... And become more exciting....

You must visit once to gather some scientific knowledge. 😍😍

Visit during day time as there are a lot of things to see. If you visit during afternoon, you'll miss out on a lot of things.

Science museum also known as Regional science center is a great place to visit or spend a holiday with family. This science center is full of amazing science tricks and everywhere there is science. Except science museum there is also a science park , an aquarium, and a biological park is also there. Best place to explore for kids and also for people of every age group. There is also a 3d show , and a coal mine tour for which you have to get extra ticket. But the quality of 3d show is not good. Everything is fine but it needs maintenance . Many of the machines are not working and the park is not in a good condition. So they should be aware and should maintain this place properly then more people will visit this place.

For kids and Families you can go there, it's a good place to have fun with some education. But there's a problem, no AC and inside it's too suffocating along with washrooms that were not cleaned. Also should be more experimental, some objects are damaged and authorities should take proper care.

It's good and hope to see new playing items for the kids. The bike racing and entire computer playing screens were out of work and it's since my last visit, last year too it was same. Kids want to play these and they must need to experience these if theses are installed there otherwise no meaning is coming out.

Good place to visit with family and kids to spend 4-5 hours in exploring how science developing and become a part of our life....

Good for children and also for adults.. refreshing air and also lots of things to see here.. i heavily recommend visiting the museum .. it is also true that many of the science gadgets are not working properly..

Great museums full of interesting facts and demos of various principles of sciences from various branch like chemistry biology and physics. Best for kids and adults alike to learn and experience various scientific phenomena. Best if visited in groups

very beautiful place . the museum , aquarium , park , jurassic park and the green house , trees around the area and the fishes of aquarium is so colourful. The museum is knowledgeable ( the physics room , chemistry room , mirror maze is amazing . I like it and the playground is to good for children . lots of playing stuf is here . And the price of these just rupee 30 . came and visit .
