One of the oldest temple of Tamilnadu. Devoted to Goddess who is in the form of Mariamma here. From Srirangam 18mts away is this temple. The pathway to the temple is either you go straight via the turning and park your car or you take a turn and go round about way. We walked for about 10mts and reached the main shrine. There are two counters rs.100 darshan or free darshan. Getting rs.100 darshan we reach the shrine early. Popularly known as Goddess who protects eyes, this temple has a huge Gopuram which is visible from a distance.
If you are travelling to Tiruchirappalli or Srirangam don’t miss visiting this temple.
