நாகப்பட்டினம் துறைமுக நகரத்தின் வரலாற்று பண்பாட்டுத் தடங்களை வெளிக்கொண்டு வரும் வகையில், #தொல்லியல் அறிஞர் அமர்நாத் ராமகிருஷ்ணா தலைமையிலான ஆய்வுக் குழுவினர், நாகை நீதிமன்ற வளாகத்தில் உள்ள சூடாமணி விகாரம், 115 ஆண்டுகள் பழமையான கடல் மட்டம் அளவிடும் கல் ஆகியவற்றை பார்வையிட்டு ஆய்வு செய்தனர்.
