Very nice and peaceful place. The sound of the sea and the positive vibes around this temple keep you calm. Photography is strictly not allowed inside the temple. They also request visitors to visit the temple first before going to the beach to avoid beach sand inside the temple. You can visit the beach and have a variety of short eats available around the place. Overall, it is a well maintained temple and different from our routine temples.

An amazing experience. Calm and serene place to lose your pressure and frustration. One of the finest and divine places to visit in ECR Chennai. Temple is located at sea shore and it will give you immense pleasure when you visit. Best timing would be Evening. Holidays and Weekends will be crowded and you won't find car parking if you plan to visit after 5 PM. I would recommend to go at 4 PM .... BEST PLACE....

First time visit to this temple. Beautiful place and wonderful location. It’s part of CHinmaya mission and that shows the purity and dedication in that place.
If you haven’t visited worth to visit and don’t go with the intention this is a picnic place.

Please don’t go on Holidays since it’s crowded and also the parking is very difficult and the road to reach this place is very narrow.

Go on a weekdays and have a wonderful Dharshan.

Nice place to visit. Seashore temple and beach is very nearby and clean. The temple is open and has no roof, so when it rains there is no shelter. Children have their own temple area. No restroom.

Temple with a difference. Separate shrines for children and no roof at all. Better to go in the early morning or evening.....Twilight zone to enjoy scenic beauty. Great to see beach backdrop next to temple.

A must visit temple which is built for Mathsya roopa of Lord Vishnu... Photography is not allowed (please don't get scoldings from temple management). Temple premises is maintained top notch. As it is near beach, you can first visit temple and enjoy the breeze in the beach (which the temple management also requests to keep the premises neat). Totally liked it...

A temple right on the sea shore in ECR. It’s a divine and peaceful place to be. Highly recommended to visit with family and kids. You can visit in the evening time and get the blessings of “Lord Matsya Narayana” and meditate there for a while amidst the roaring sound of the ocean right next to you.
Points to note:
1. Entry Free of Cosf
2. Kids friendly
3. Elderly friendly
4. People on wheel chair as well can visit this place as they have the ramp built which will lead to the worship place
5. You can sit and meditate
6. No waiting time
7. Not usually crowded during weekdays unless it’s a festive day.
8. Once you’re done with the temple, make sure to give a visit to the beach right next to the temple and have some sweet corn and ice creams too.!!

The temple exceeded expectations in terms of crowds, requiring parking a short distance away due to full streets. However, the open temple concept, coupled with a picturesque beach view, provided a serene atmosphere. The walk was compensated by cooling air, making it an ideal spot for meditation. Despite the initial inconvenience, it's highly recommended for a visit, especially on weekdays for a more peaceful experience amidst the open temple's tranquility.

The temple experience resembling more of a park. A unique aspect was the presence of a separate temple dedicated to kids, restricting entry to those aged 12 and below. This distinctive feature added an interesting dynamic, providing a specialized space within the temple grounds for younger visitors.

Secluded beachside temple, Matsya Narayana offers a serene escape.

Gaze upon the majestic idol of Lord Vishnu & soak in the tranquility, especially beautiful in the evenings.

Photography is prohibited, but the experience is definitely worth a visit.

When you are around South Chennai along the Coast, this place is a must visit! This is a open air facility with Shrines of Sri Mathsyanarayana, Sri Hanumanji and 108 pillars with inscription of messages from Poojya Sree Swamy Chinmaynanda are arranged in an elevated circular structure. At the backdrop is the Bay of Bengal with a rhythmic sound of waves - it's very unique and comforts your mine! After your dharshans, as you come out Prasadam is distributed to all the visitors.

Just few meters away is the Sea and you can relax in the sands and chill. There are local food stalls offering hot Bajjis and other snacks for you to enjoy along with sea breeze!

The place was wonderful, You will be having a blissful mind when you entered that place - no entrance fee or like anything. The temple was maintained with at most care, cleanliness and it's located near the beach hence it has that peaceful sea breeze sound that literally take us to complete calmness.

Child friendly place where they has a kutties kovil like a miniature of gods and story of Rama and other gods too.

There will be also a wish pond where you can wish for anything and should throw a coin into the pond. That's a wonderful experience, so don't forget take some coins with you.

To say in short - definitely a place to visit 🫶.

It's such a serene place to spend calm and quiet time just beside the sea. One can hear the sound of waves while you sit at a very neatly kept and beautiful ambience. A must visit specially in the morning hours. Evening hours may be crowded specially weekends.
