This branch is always crowded, no people will properly respond and such a poor sort of service I experienced. I went to open account in this bank, they collected all the forms from me and got 1300 Rs for opening the account. After processing all the formalities and getting money from me they just noted down my account number in a paper and told to come and collect the Pass book after two days. If that was the case I wouldn't have opened the account itself in the 1st place since for me the purpose of opening the bank account is to provide the Pass book front page copy as a proof for my claim settlement and I was desperately in need of that. No choice left as I have already paid the money for opening the account, I visited the branch after 2 days as they told. From then on I had to continuously visit the branch for more than 10 days to get the pass book and every day they gave me the same silly reason that the pass book haven't come from the head office. After a week the security itself redirected me to come after two days since the pass book is not ready and he didn't allow me to enter in to the bank itself. Finally I contacted the canara bank customer care website and lodged a written online complaint to get the work done. For a simple task of opening an account and to get the passbook this branch took lot of my time, patience and efforts. If I have opened an account in some other bank which had good customer service, the job could have been completed less than a day. I would never recommend Canara bank especially this branch.
