Good place for worship..Easy to reach.. Located on the way between Kovilpatti and Tirunelveli.. Huge parking space for tourist vehicles.. Multiple stores available… Living halls name Chathrams available in nearly streets at very low cost..

The history of St. Anthony’s Shrine Puliyampatti dates back to 17th century. A man named Thommai, who was a devout catholic came to Puliyampatti from Sathankulam. He saw an apparition of St. Anthony of Padua saying “Build a church and worship God” and disappeared. By the divine guidance of St. Anthony of Padua in many visions he build a small church. The Zamin (Land Lord) of Manniachi donated land to build the Church as he also had the vision of St. Anthony of Padua.
Puliampatti became a new Parish with Rev. Fr. A. Mariadoss as its first parish priest on 15th February, 1954. By his effort, the Church was elevated and rededicated to St. Anthony of Padua on the 13th June, 1961

Calm place. Prayer starts on according to time. Rooms are available near the shrine. Mass prayer on Sunday was nice 🙂

Quiet atmosphere we can pray peacefully without any disturbance separate free vehicle parking available.

The church is well maintained. Ample parking space. Good place to meditate and relax. Also remove hair and pierce ear.

This church is one of the church whose memories dates back to my childhood. One of the most blessed church. It is a very important church for my family. All important event from naming to death homage everything is offered hear by my family. Earlier there used to people chained to the trees now they doesn't seems that often but still they are there. The small vendors out side the church selling the snack are also good. This place is also known for the wonders that have been performed in each and every individuals life. This place is also good to buy products related to Christians faith and to offer offering.

Puliyampatti St. Antony's shrine is a Holy place where lakhs and lakhs of people come to visit and prayer and get healed from so many types of Demon attacks, health problems and other issues. They sacrifice goats and feed the poor and the needy
