The wonders of the Ajanta caves demand a whole day's attention. For that MTDC Fardapur offers a very comfortable lodging at a reasonable rate. Only the meals are highly priced. Visitors are advised to manage their own meals.

At Ellora we stayed in Hotel Vrindavan.
It is 5 minutes walk from the caves but neither the room nor the food is up to the mark. Price not at all reasonable.

Food and lodging at Aurangabad is cheaper and better.

It is a nice structure but it seems MTDC is worse at maintaining the heliport, there is no care taker or security around control room
