I have been to many Sagar Ratna's in India but the Udipi one is the best.
It is located in Ocean Pearl hotel.
From the word go it is good.
The valet parking is very efficient and courteous.
The food is tops.
It is a vegetarian paradise.
Of course it is the best for South Indian food. But not just that it is equally good for North Indian.

came for to have lunch and must say they do have delicious food and hats off to the chef’s for such a great food. ordered 2 North Indian Thali a Paneer Malai Tikka and mist try is the dessert Fried ice cream. We ordered a mocktail shy twins but sadly it wasn’t available so we changed it.

Had one of the best Coffee ever here. Dosa was also pretty good. Highly recommended for South Indian breakfast.

Went to have breakfast over here. Nothing very awesome, but all items were good in taste. We had buns, idli Vada, Puri, masala dose, coffee. All item prices are same compared to Bangalore. Ambience was fine. Staff were good in nature.

Food quality & taste is so good, Mushroom butter garlic was too too good. Overall great taste and had great lunch experience

This is by the roadside on the Udupi Manipal road. A well laid out, clean and air conditioned outlet. The fare is vegetarian. The prices are decent. A plate of vada with choice of chutneys & sambar cost 75/-. To my mind, one of the good options for vegetarian food in Manipal.

Recently had my lunch there. The ambience is good and the staff is very friendly. The North Indian thali is good. Overall a good restaurant but the prices are slight for the quality and taste of the food. Parking facilities available.

Good place to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is very quick. Staffs are very cooperative. The place is easily accessible as it is in between Udupi and Manipal. I just love their food anytime. Highly recommended for vegetarians.

One of the best pure vegetarian restaurants in Udupi. The dosas are crisp and very tasty and so are the Thalis. The restaurant is clean and with a modern decor. Highly recommend.

You can certainly visit this restaurant, even in these covid times as there is no rush, the staff take adequate precautions and of course, there is the hot, savoury food!!! The ambience is good, the staff does not try to rush you off and attend you only when it is needed. They accept cash, cards, etc for contactless transactions.

A hygiene vegetarian restaurant. Staff and managers are with great hospitality. ambience is also above average. Variety of food options available. Local Udupi foods are also in the menu.

Great vegetarian food . Mostly south Indian items. We eat lunch there at least once a month.

It's a good hotel for family and kids

Clean, hygienic, air conditioned place. I loved the South Indian thali, which is value for money. Doesn’t get too crowded, and they play soothing music in the background. The food was tasty, exactly how you’d expect a good South Indian thali in Udupi restaurants. Has a place to park the car as well.

Ordered for a birthday lunch: veg biryani, babycorn chilli, naan, paneer tikka masala, spring rolls (the best in town)… delivered on time and the food was sooooo clean. Less oil. Clean. I think the taste for vegetarian cuisine is the best in town, even the strict non veg had plenty of compliments to give. Unfortunately, ate too soon to take the pics ☺
