This temple is located in Ghadiyali Pol, Vadodara and this temple is also very old in Vadodara city, its a local market for ladies and you'll find many other things here at a very cheap price, the only thing is that its always crowded and on Saturday Sundays more than weekdays, you'll not get easily parking in this area so you've to park your vehicle very carefully otherwise it can be towed by the traffic police of Vadodara and chances that your vehicle can damage too, now back to Temple, its open from early morning to evening around 9 PM approximately,

Amazing place with peace of mind, too crowdy though, parking here is a big problem and four wheeler parking is almost impossible.. but this place is so peaceful and silent you can have the amazing feeling of meeting with Goddess Amba and will give you inner happiness.

This is the oldest temple. on the day of navratri there are no women here but men play garba here. but there are no speakers no singers here that are old like those who play drums and drums. Everyday a lot of public comes here to visit the temple. This temple is in the most crowded area.

Very spiritual and crowded Temple in City area. In Navaratri people from different places used to be there by walk as a symbol of the spiritual actions.

This is one of the oldest temples of this region and was said to have been build by Raja Vikramaditya.
The story goes like this: Raja wanted to bring Ambe Mata to his palace. Ambe mata agreed to come down. However, she gave a condition that she will follow the Raja as he walks and while doing so Raja should not look behind. If he does, the goddess shall move no further. Raja agreed and started walking. The goddess followed and the make a tickling sound of her anklet as she walked.
While they were near the palace, the goddess stopped the tickling sound. The king looked back to see if the goddess is still there as as she said before, the goddess moved no further.
The kind built a temple for her in the same location.
The temple attracts a lot of devotees even today.

This Temple is located at Ghadiyali Pol near to Mandvi Gate and is believed to be more than 2000 Years Old. It is famous temple of Amba Mata (Maa Harsiddhi). The temple has Idol of Mata which is made up of marble which is placed in West direction. Also there are 2 more idol of Lord Laxmi Narayan and Lord Maha Laxmi which are on Left and Right Side of Amba Mata’s Idol respectively.

The Pundit of Temple says that Raja Vikramaditya of Ujjain and his daughter were a big devotee of Harsiddhi Mata. After her daughter’s marriage, she went to Rajpipla with Harsiddhi Mata. But when raja gone back to Rajpipla for bringing back Mata, there was a conditon by Mata to not to look backwards. Prince and his servants were walking and sounds of Payal (thing to wear in leg by Girls/Womens) were coming from Ambe Mata. Once Mata stopped to see if Raja look’s back, and immediately Prince looked back. After that Mata told Raja that now She will stay here only. So where Mata were stopped, a Temple was built there. This Place is now called Amba Mata Temple. Then after Raja Vikramaditya died at Manvi Gate,
Harsiddhi Garba: Another interesting thing of this Place is that only Male’s do Garba here during Navratri Festival in All Gujarat. The garba performed at Amba Mata temple near Mandvi also known as Harsiddhi garba is dedicated to male devotees. Amba Mata’s temple where devotees from all over Gujarat swarm to seek blessings is also believed to bring prosperity.

Only males have been participating at this garba since time immemorial. Girls and boys below 15 years of age are also allowed to play garba at this venue.

Men, who play garba here, tie the sacred chunri offered to Mataji around their necks. They play in front of a collection of lamps that represent the Goddess
