Tilyar Lake, Rohtak

We visited tilyar lake and zoo after a while...its improved a lot since then...specially the zoo and the island cafe in the lake. We enjoyed rides and strolling on the lake.But still the monkey issue persist in the park. All in all its a perfect one day getaway with family

Rabbits are the attraction of lake restaurants. A little costly restaurant but you can have decent snacking.

The lake needs a little cleaning and maintenance.

Awesome experience great weekend fully enjoyed totally renovated full of fun special zoo filles with all new animals birds lion tiger and many more a must vist place for everyone.

The lake is pretty big and very beautiful. There is a small island in the middle of the lake. You can do boating or simply sit idle and relax or have a leisurely walk along the perimeter of the lake but beware of monkeys. There is a small zoo and a restaurant in the complex thereby making this place an ideal picnic spot to be visited with family and friends.

It's good place to visit you can do boating there and view of lake was awesome. Near the lake zoo is also you can also go their for enjoyment.

Laser light show happen here but currently not operating due to covid 19.

A big lake but badly maintained in the heart of Rohtak. Laser show has started recently. Lots of monkeys, swans and migratory birds can be seen. Boating facility is available. A mini zoo and amusement park for children is also available.

This is best place to spend 3-4 hours with family & friends...you will enjoy boat ride here, Zoo is also top attraction here...and actually if department do some efforts it can be top attractions for events and tourism...there are lots of area of scope available to do things in better way.

Great place to hangout with family and friends. Light show is also there in the evening. You can also visit zoo there which is adjacent to the lake (tilyar zoo)

Great experience The lake is too big & It occupied large area. You can also go boating here. The boating charges is RS. 300 for 4 people.It is also a very good picnic spot.

It's very beautiful picnic place but there was no maintenance and cleanliness now days.. water was fully dirty and smelled...

Tilyar Lake (free entry) is one of the major tourist attractions in the Indian state of Haryana (Rohtak). It is only 70 kilometers from New Delhi. there is many attractions like mini zoo of Rohtak near to tilyar lake. Entry fee is Rs 10 only. Haryana Tourism Resort. Haryana tourism Restaurant. Mini Food Point. it is very good place for having fun with family or friends. its also a good place for photography.
you can see many type of migrated birds here. specially October to February.

Good place to chill out, booting is available for a reasonable price, you have some food joints also.

Some parts of the zoo not working properly but otherwise all ok

Tilyar Lake is situated in delhi road rohtak haryana.it is just 1km far away from delhi bypass choraha rohtak.It is very big lake with a big park area.Mini Zoo are situated in this lake paramises.boating are available for tourist. Many foreign burds are live there and many indian birds are also live there. A very good place for family and friends with children. Many jhule of electricity are situated and refreshment stores are also available here. No Entry fees for lake. Zoo and parking fees are very low.

Nice place to spend an afternoon!! The place is beautiful....but the tourists should not dirty the place with trash and try to keep it clean. This is no one's responsibility but ours!
