EME Temple

A very peaceful place. The temple is located in Army cantonment area. It is beautifully architected with basic principle of all the religious included. It also has a huge garden surrounding It. Place is clean and well maintained.

Unique kind of structure to be seen in a temple. The premises have many old stone sculptures of various gods. Inside the main structure, one can hear the smallest sounds at high volumes. Sound is amplified effectively.

The Dakshinamoorthy & Navgraha EME Temple, situated in EME School, Vadodara Campus is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has a Navgraha Temple also which is dedicated to the nine planets in Vedic Astronomy. The EME Temple was built in 1966.

It is very peaceful calm and very clean. Well maintained and worth the time spent. Echo in the main temple is very clear.

The temple is an innovation of one of our military personnel Mr.Eugene who had an idea to build it as a prayer temple for all religions.

It is lord shiva temple. Good surrounding of garden. Also collection of ancient statutes found, which is amazing. A must visit place.

Neat and clean with drinking water, toilet,shoe rack also, 7th century to 12 century AD original idols are preserved here and restored

Evening aarti happens at 7:00. History of the temple is even more interesting. It was built by a Christian general and the temple architecture is a combination of all religions - Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism and Hinduism.
