Don't go by the looks of the place. It's primarily a fish lover haven. Delicious and hygienic sea food.

Narayana has been one of my Go-To place since more than 10 years. Tucked away in an alley, the humble hotel serves delicious Fish Thali with choice of Fish Fry. Their Fish Fry is different from rest and they serve masala crumbs which is heaven when mixed with rice n eaten. The Fish is fresh and meaty. I love their Anjal and Pomfret Fry the most

Must visit and must try to enjoy authentic sea food. Very old school style of food. Previously it even had an authentic old school vibes of mangalore eatery. Now the interiors have been upgraded.

If u want to enjoy a super satisfactory fish meal lunch, then close ur eyes and head to Narayana. Fantastic, simple, mangalorean fish meals in the area.

If u have heard about Thimmappa in Uduppi, then this is probably the thimmappa of Mangalore.

price ia very reasonable too.

Place becomes crowded during peak hours. So head early to have peace of mind.

The food is a definite highlight here...the king fish and pomfret fry really stood out...king fisht fillets are easily 5-8mm thick, something that's not available anywhere as far as I know...the meal has just the right amount of sides with it and the special powder/leftover fish fry crumbs supplied with fry goes well with rice and it's a must try cuisine

Fish sizes are big...hence price could appear expensive

Waiting is long and absolutely no ambience at all ...all this is made up by taste of lunch.

This is a seafood restaurant famous for fish meals served during afternoon and evening. More quantity at less price. King fish fry is top class! Congested area, no parking facility; no rooms.

What can I say, no superlatives to describe this quintessential hole in the wall manglorian food heaven. The freshness of the food paired with the tiffin room vibe makes this place a must visit for any seafood lover.

Good was exceptional. Small place and always crowded. You will have to wait for 10 minutes to get a seat. But the fish tawa fry is must have.

Best place in Mangalore for tasty meals with fresh fish fry at lowest price. Only meals served during afternoon and evening. Anjal (seer fish) fry is the speciality.

The most delicious west coast fish meal I've had. The majjige huli (buttermilk) is also a must try.

Had a good lunch with fried fish and powdered masala of fried fish which they serve with the fries. The fresh catch of the day is served to the table optimally fried.

This is a must visit place in Mangalore. You get rice fish curry pickle, then they will bring you different types of fishes which you can select and on top of that you will get the special coconut oil fried crispy powder which adds to the flavour.

Simple food, just rice and fish curry, with our if the world fish fry.... Anjal and Bangde fry were simply too good. I wish I had more space in my stomach after 2 of each, so that I could have had 2 more...
