Enjoyed an enchanting stay at Taj Chia Kutir Resort & Spa in Darjeeling. Nestled amidst awe-inspiring natural beauty and a huge tea estate, the location was simply breathtaking. The food over breakfast and dinner was top notch.

The staff's hospitality was exceptional, ensuring every need was met with a smile. One of the staff members, Kushi made our check-in seamless and arranged a fantastic trip to explore Darjeeling. Another staff member even helped arrange some last minute medication as well. Our accommodations were luxurious and perfectly complemented the serene landscape.

This resort not only exceeded our expectations but also provided an unforgettable experience that resonates with Darjeeling's beauty. We're grateful for the cherished memories and can't wait to return for another remarkable stay.

Excellent hotel tucked away in Makaibari Tea Estate. Beautifully designed and constructed, blends in with nature, overlooking lovely hills. A great place to unwind with excellent personalized service and exquisite ambience. Must spend a long weekend here to rejuvenate. The rooms are spacious and lots of facilities on the property. The food is fantastic.

The place is simply WOW. Have visited and stayed at many Taj Resorts, but nothing matches Taj Chia Kutir. Nestled in lush Makaibari Tea Estate, the place exudes relaxing vibes. The rooms, the service, the food, the view, the well landscaped and manitained gardens, everything is par excellence. And then the Taj hospitality is like " sone pe suhaga", simply amazing. I have promised the place that I will return every year..!

Thank you for a very pleasant experience and the best service ever. For sure Darjeeling is very pretty and so is the taj chia resort but what impressed me the most is the impeccable taste of the food and the excellent service rendered by the team members. I was travelling with a 2.5 year old toddler who is a picky eater and I have shared his food itinerary to chef Pankaj before my arrival at Taj Chia. His team Abhijeet , siddhanth ensured that the baby food was arriving to the room on time and was exactly made to his requirements. I must say that the entire team is very dedicated to ensure the best customer service. A special thanks to the housekeeping staff Sachin and Devasri for keeping our room neat and tidy throughout our stay .

I recently stayed (18th- 20th Dec) at this luxury 5-star Taj property with my family; the hotel is surrounded by beautiful hills and the most famous lush green Makai Bari tea garden. Check-in to the hotel was very smooth, and Ms. Anshika was very good at hospitality. All hotel staff have been helpful. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant. They have a good variety of food menu, and the food taste was delicious. The hotel also has an excellent travel desk team; I went for a morning nature walk in the hilly area of Maka Bari Garden with Mr. Daya, which was a wonderful experience. They also have a kid play zone. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and a memorable experience!!

What a lovely property nestled in the middle of the tea estate. But what makes the place all the more special are the people. Reena, Ajay, Bhaskar Sunjoy, Anshuman, thank you for making our stay super comfortable, the day long conference a success and making us have a delightful culinary experience. Debanjana and her colleague on the 7th floor went an extra mile in taking care of all our needs at the room. Chetri Ji's guided valley trek was an enthralling experience in itself.

Amazing three days here. Rahman, Ajay and Rishi were so friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were all great too. Amazing venue and location but the staff really made our stay enjoyable.

Taj has always been our first preference when it comes to family getaways. Taj Chia Kutir was thus the default choice when we planned for a smaller family celebration in the hills. Outlooking the sprawling Makaibari Tea garden, Chia Kutir offers some of the most beautiful sunrises you can imagine in such a setting. Even the twinkling city lights from the nearby hillstations in the moonlit nights doesn't fail to enthrall your imagination. Topping it all was the hospitality Taj has to offer here. It will be a crime if I forget to mention Mr. Soushish, Mr. Rishi, Ms. Anisha, Ms. Debashree and all the caring staffs of Taj Chia Kutir who had made our stay even more memorable. I know pictures won't do justice to the marvellous landscape, buts here's a few glimpses from our stay in the Taj Chia Kutir.

My wife and I had a memorable time at Taj Chia Kutir in Kurseong! The service was exceptional, and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Special mention of Mr. Rishi and service staff Mr. Sonam and Mr. Souvik. The food was a delight thanks to the wonderful chef Mr. Pankaj who took great care in curating the dishes for us. The location is absolutely beautiful. The evening music by Ms. Kalyani, Mr. Anupam and Mr. Rupam added a romantic touch to our stay. Can't wait to return for another memorable experience!

It was an awesome experience. My kids want to go back again to this hotel. Food was good especially Paneer was super soft and tasty. It had decent games room.

Superb place to visit -away Frm the chaos and over crowded kind of hotels . Staff is awsome and very well behaved.
Every requirement was well taken care of. Staff including chef Pankaj - prerna Meghna Manju Suveena , manager etc etc.each and everyone was best.dont remember everyone’s name.

Great experience here during our vacation to Darjeeling. I only stayed here 1 night but service impeccable, I was able to do the tea tasting, high tea, flute ritual, go for a swim and morning yoga. Top notch and highly recommend

Wonderful property well maintained. Kids had a wonderful time as well. Bhaskar made the check in process smooth. Chef Mahesh has lead the team wonderfully both places have good food. Restaurants managers along with Ajay and Rishi ensured we had a good meal throughout. Rahman, Prerna, Aniket and dibankar's service was always prompt. Also, Mixologist shovnik makes good cocktails! We did a wonderful tea tour with Prayag he was kind and helpful. Overall recommend this property for a family getaway

The weather and ambience added a magical touch to my stay. Surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil surroundings, it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The absolute highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the exquisite food and exceptional cocktails. Both Chia Verandah and Sonargaon restaurants left me yearning for more with their culinary masterpieces, including the irresistible Tandoori fish, Naga mutton curry, and delectable Gur ice cream. The mixologist displayed genuine artistry, and every sip, especially the "Himalayan rose gin and whiskey sour” was a sensory delight.

I must extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Food & Beverage team, which includes Chef Mukesh, Managers Prerna, Ajay, and Kautav, Mixologist Souvik, and Servers Rahman, Rohan, Anshuman, and many others. Each member of the staff at the property played a pivotal role in ensuring that we felt right at home.

This place is exquisite. Beautiful views of the valley. The tea tasting session was amazing with storytelling and opened my eyes to a different world of teas (do not miss this). Great breakfast spread. The staff is very professional and alert. They did a great job of decorating the room for my wife's bday. Also, kudos to the bartender for preparing exquisite tea based cocktails. The one infused with elderflower is one of the best we ever had (must have and recipe please Taj people if you are reading this).

Loved our week at the Taj Chia Kutir. The location is beautiful, echoed in the buildings and decor. Everything felt welcoming, luxurious and designed for comfort. The staff were great - friendly, attentive. Absolutely somewhere we'd like to return to for relaxation, tasty food, and excellent spa treatments.
