We went for a family lunch to this restaurant. Exceptional experience at the Oryx. The staff's warmth and attentiveness added to the charm. The food was simply amazing, a burst of authentic flavors. A delightful culinary journey that left a lasting impression. I Highly recommend for a taste of Kerala's finest. They have kids play area, parking space within their restaurant.

Best in Kanhangad with excellent ambiance. Highway side, they have plenty of parking space, party hall and kids play area. Plenty of seating capacity in AC and Non-AC section.

A great place for food. Everything served was spectacular. Would definitely recommend this place. Great variety of food. I had the Maharajas thaali which was spectacular (to be shared by 4 people atleast). The fish tawa fry and fish mango curry was also superb.

I got delicious food from oryx village.
Very peacefully we can eat whatever we want and there is different type of fooding area like AC non AC etc.
All types food are delicious.
All type food they will arrange fastly like they are sir everything properly the service are amazing. I went oryx village in night time. In night also there is very rush because that food quality.

Very big parking area available and we can take photography from the frond of hotel.

Children's sitting arrangement and cradle also we will get from there.

The best place to dine in when one is at Kanhangad. Do try the melt in the mouth mutton biryani. Very well made, with short waiting time. Love the pleasant ambience. Would love to be back here. Staff is extremely polite and responsive. Best regards to the chef for coming up with the amazing food.

Fantastic experience at this restaurant. Great food, great ambience and excellent service. There is a long wait for the food, but it's worth all of it. A live fish counter to choose from. Adequate seating area, beautiful interiors. Children's play area and a beautifully designed fish pond. We had the Kerala veg meals and fish curries ( fish mango curry & fish mulakittathu ). It was very tasty and the quantity was also good. Dessert options were also good. It's a bit pricy, but offers quality and taste. Must visit if you are near Kanhangad. Parking spaces are also available. Party area is attached for family events.

The best in Kasaragod. Quality, quantity, ambience, service, menu and everything is perfect. It's located on the highway side. It's always crowded in spite of the large seating capacity that shows the quality. The best part is the availability of all kinda dishes. Price is as per standard. They have a party hall, prayer area and a kids park. A cafe attached to the restaurant is also a good spot to hang out with your buddies. Outside there is a live fish counter, where you can choose your favorite one. We tried their platter, fish tawa fry, iranian Alfahm, Chicken nadan curry etc and all items were satisfied. As a coffee lover I should mention the taste of their coffee specially 😍.
Highly recommended to visit with your family and friends.

We ordered a royal Arabic platter. That was super good. It included five varieties of chicken. It's enough for 4-5 people, and I added extra butter naan.We celebrated a birthday, so they provided a cake and a lagoon biriyani as a complement. Staff joined us for birthday. The service and atmosphere were good. A good night out🤍

Good food, nice and neat place to go with friends and family. Fast service. Good assistance by Mr. Diluwar. Although he hails from Assam, he speaks fluent Malayalam surprisingly. Do try their Chicken Caesar Salad and Butter Garlic Squid.

The place looked great and attractive and the staff were kind and friendly, but the food had arrived late it tasted better than anything i could imagine, i would personally come here even more just to have some more delicious food👍👍🙏🙏😄😄

Good Atmosphere, Ample car parking space, Good Dining area, not so crowded, but still good number of people can dine at a time. Took around 20 minutes to get our food served. Good service and overall a good experience .

Oryx Village is always one of the best restaurants in the town. The varieties they have, how delicious the food is. And their services. The ambience is also amazing. There is a good parking space for many cars. You can even go and check the live fishes. Order them. There is a children's play area. This restaurant is in a good location by the highway. It's a great place if you are a non-veg lover. They also have quick bites like burgers, sandwiches, etc. You should expect a big crowd on weekends and special days. Oryx Village has AC and non AC dining areas. The restaurant Walls have beautiful art works which represent tradition. Also there is a tree in the middle of the restaurants

Absolutely awesome food 👌 We were in search of Kerela cuisine and chanced upon this place. The fish, prawns, squid, and meat along with Malabar paratha were made to perfection and mouth wateringly delicious. We are going back tomorrow for more items that we could not try today!!

As promised in my earlier review posted yesterday (May 28, 2023), we came in again on May 29 for lunch to try the biriyani.

The Mangalam Biryani was a masterpiece of flavors, with the aromatic spices blending perfectly with the tender meat and fragrant rice. It was a dish that left a lasting impression and had me craving for more. The tawa prawns cooked in special Kerala spices were another highlight of the menu. Each bite was a burst of flavors, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. And let's not forget about the desserts! The sweet delicacies at Oryx Village were simply divine, offering a perfect ending to a memorable dining experience.

What truly stood out at Oryx Village was the exceptional service provided by the staff. I would like to give a special mention to steward Diluwar, whose attentiveness and professionalism added a personal touch to the dining experience. Diluwar's warm and friendly nature made me feel like a valued guest, and he went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was taken care of. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to recommend dishes made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Haneef, the manager of Oryx Village. His dedication to maintaining a high standard of service was evident throughout my visit. Mr. Haneef's presence and hands-on approach ensured that every guest felt welcome and well taken care of.
