Barike Estate Stay

Beautiful place. If you are looking for a place which is little far form the city life, isolated in the midst of a forest and coffee estates this is it. Deepak is the point of contact, he was really kind and friendly. He provided us with everything we had asked for during our stay. Overall we had a memorable and pleasant stay.

We can't tell you how much we appreciated your kindness in letting us stay at your home stay. The ambiance of house is outstanding for couple, family. The place is very silent and easy accessible to all amenities. We especially enjoyed our evening conversations over bedtime tea. We were cherished. Host Deepak Ganapathy is friendly, super cool and interactive person, Who take care of his guests and guide us for planning, transportation. The special thing about him is he made us to taste Coorg special foods. People who are planning for Coorg trip must stay in his place (Barike) Thank you so much for your warm hospitality:):)

Ideal for large groups (10 to 12 people), however good for smaller groups too. We were 4, stayed on Jul 28 and 29, 2018. Situated deep inside a coffee estate, this place offers completely cut off feel from city life (which is exactly what we wanted). The cottage has rustic feel, the light smell of smoke from wood used for cooking makes your heart warm.

Property is complete with a tree house and a swing, though we couldn't use the swing because of the rains.

Friendly staff, ever willing to help served authentic food (pork is a must try) and unlimited coffees and teas.
They met every request we had with smiles.

They even helped us buy spices at reasonable prices, much cheaper than what we get elsewhere.

We were told about short treks and sight seeing places nearby, but couldn't go because of the rains and the short schedule we were on.

If you're looking for a luxury experience, this isn't the place for you, but it's definitely value for money.

Situated on madikeri-tala kaveri road, this is a good 7 hours drive from Bangalore, which could be the only downside.

A awesome place to visit. Trip to Coorg was complete just because of this stay.
Pros-
- If u love nature, just go for it.
- If u love peace , just go for it.
- Cooperative owners Nd cook.
- Home made food both veg Nd non veg.
- Mornings r so beautiful in this place, u can't imagine.
- So Wen in group , visit is must.

Cons-
- Location is too deep inside jungle. Even Wen Google map stops working, u have to go on.
- Isolated place, better for visit with family or groups.

Wowwwww amazing place to visit and it's completly different experience of staying within the coffee estate where u can enjoy the freshness of nature and the pleasant aroma of coffee beans. It's a great stay for the team outing and also for the families. The experience can't be explained it has to experienced....

It was a well spend weekend at Barike estate Homestay. The owner is very friendly. The breakfast and dinner prepared by them was really delicioussss !! It is a nice place to relax and spend time with your family and friends.
