Durgamba Devi Temple

A peaceful place this year the water reached the maximum level The full lake looks like a sea and who believes Durgamba always she blessed ♥

This is one of my favourite places in Bangalore. It’s outside city traffic and closer to nature . It is in hesaraghatta and one of the peace places away from city pollution and traffic.
You will see people doing their morning walks and exercise in morning if you coming hear in morning time and even in evening the place looks very beautiful. I would recommend to visit this hidden gem of place .dam and temple are the best attraction.

We had blessed.I had visited twice . You will be mentally free as you see it surrounded by lake. Environment was very good.

Suyambu DugulamaDevi , very powerful form of Adiparasakthi self menifested Idol on it own formed and came in River Arkavathi, Lordess want to sit and save the world people from here , now the temple is developed very by lot of devotees, 20 years back, we use to witness in a old small Granite stone structure outside another Devatha sits and protect the sanction sanctorium. Pls come have pooja and then seek her blessings for Lokashama and self

Good place to visit with family and friends. Nice place to enjoy when the rainfall is good and the lake is full. For food and water you need to come near the main street.

Only for temple sake we can visit this place. No trees, so avoid during noon. Its good only for quick visit.

Nice place, if you are planning for a one day road trip from Bangalore its a good choice don't miss it.

Hessaraghatta got its name frm Hasirughatta means Greeneryplace. Sir M.Vishweshwaraiah built this water tank. In those days it supplied water to Bangalore.

Good place to hangout, there is a temple with durgamba Devi as it's diety, the hesarghatta lake beside it is very beautiful especially in rainy seasons.

It's a good place to visit. Kids really enjoy the place. Best time to visit is either morning or in the evening. You can get good snaps in the evening. Will get snacks over the tanks of the lake which is on average. Durgamba Devi temple is a good temple to visit once as many offerings are done here on daily basis. On weekend days it's good to visit as more number of people will be there.
