Largest library.Large number of books were available. It's gives appearance of a 5 star hotel.high speed internet available.
A caffeteria is also available.most beautiful and largest central library.very good amenities are here.it provides a great environment to study.

A very nice Library having a large space for students to study peacefully and also contains books from various field from filmography to cosmology, journals from almost each subject, several famous daily/monthly/yearly magazines, hundreds of novels from big authors. It is fully air conditioned with facilities consisting automated book issue and return.

Very cool place to study, huge collection of books are available. The sitting places are nice and comfortable. Huge parking area is available in front of the library. There is a tea stall in the ground floor. The library staffs are nice, humble and helpful. The Wi-Fi speed here is really remarkable. Almost every place of the library is furnished with CCTV surveillance system to ensure better security. It remains open from 8 O'clock in the morning to 12 O'clock at night. During the exam time, the library remains open for 24 hours, but it becomes very congested, difficult to find a sitting place during exam time.

Best place in IITG to study for long hours. Open 24x7 during exams. Self issue/return facility. Clean and spacious. Most of the books are found. Have CCD and a canteen near it for refreshment. A non ac area is available too. CCTV available in most sitting areas so feels safe to leave belongings for shorter duration of time.

This is 'the place'. The heaven of the students with a humungous collection of books spread across three full size floors. The staff are really very friendly and helpful. Other facilities include two cafès one of them being CCD and the other a lot more economical yet decent). Other feature is the IITG souvenir shop. Good quality bathroom and toilet facilities available. Computer and communication center is located beside it in the same building

Best library in the entire north east region... very well maintained... one will find almost every book on science and technology... literature books are also available

This library is the best a library can be ! Ac working just fine , silence all around , enough desk space ,charger socket for every desk and every possible engineering book you will need. Closes at 2 AM normally and 12 AM when people are less in campus . Only thing missing is fiction novels .

Best library among all IITs, telling from personal experience. It is a grand 3 storeyed building and an underground floor. It has accomodation for more than 500 students for studying at the same time. Over 3 lakh books and journals, though you won't need that much but you can find books for each and every topics. It has partnerships with many publishers and you can access their exclusive journals for free.

Huge collection of books, journals etc. Has a pretty decent baggage deposit system; even has an electronic facility which allows you to digitally search for any book. Covers a huge area and it's possible to study in peace (and many do)

The library is simply outstanding. Superbly well organized and very big collection of books specially for mathematics. It has an NBHM collrction as well. Its fully air conditioned and facilities are awesome. There are plenty of sections for books. It has so many places to sit and study. No disturbance is there you can simply sit read here. Nice place to stay away from any other disturbances. It also has computer communication center.

Best place for IITG students for preparation. Fully AC library containing all types of reading articles including PhD thesis to any type of Books.

It is probably the biggest central library in the northeast India. Named after the Assamese literary stalwart Lakshminath Bezbaroa and situated opposite to the Bhupen Hazarika auditorium of IITG. Equipped with all the modern amenities like automated book issue/return vending machine, catalogue machine to browse all the books in the library, locate the position on the shelf and to know the status whether the book is in shelf or not, etc...

Excellent library with computer communication center. Perfect place for readers and couples. Has decent amount of books that needed.
