Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Around 750 steps trek uphill through forest to reach ancient Lord shiva temple. Temple cleanliness is well maintained. Perfect spot for people who want to spend some quality peaceful time far from daily routine busy life.

This place is very beautiful. Specially in rainy season you will find waterfalls... You can track here and enjoy the beauty of nature. Just don't litter plastic waste there as it is a Sanctuary.. And we need to protect our forests and maintain their beauty.

Amazing place... Easy to reach with Google map, which is accurate... Once reached greeted with great mountain and lake beneath it... Going further you'll have to climb too many steps to visit TEMPLE named KEDARNATH, but worth the effort once reached... Also amazing rocky spots for pics and steps are clean and lean... Good to see less plastic... Also no spot for drinking water or even a shop to purchase water or any beverages, so water bottle for each person definitely recommended... Can be a good spot for picnic with family... Entry closes at 6PM... Best time to visit is in monsoon but do check on heavy rainfall forecast as there are spots where the roads are rite in middle of riverbed...

A sanctuary for wildlife conservation, focused on wild boars. They do not offer any kind of tours, not sure if it's good or bad, but the place is serene . Monsoons is the ideal time to visit this place, as then it's lush green.

What a beautiful wildlife Sanctuary! One of the most pristine habitat in Gujarat. If you are lucky you can spot animals like sloth bear, civets, leopard, honey badger and many birds like vulture. You can book twin rooms at 800rs per night in the forest. Very near to mt.abu. beautiful place to visit in winters and monsoon.

Yes it's best place to have blissful vacation. Have all attractions like wildlife sanctuary, museum, souvenir shop, lake, mountains, temple, dam, camp site, easy to afford Cottages, dormentries. A cook is available for home like simple food. A Government of Gujarati circuit house is also available. They're now adding new rooms, will also provide tents for night hold.
A must visit place for each Gujarat resident. The ambience will make over your mind, and you'll enjoy down to earth living.
This site located at 35 kilometres from Palanpur and 80 kilometres from Mount Abu.

Approximately 190 km away from Udaipur, in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat on the Gujarat-Rajasthan border, is located the Jessore Sloth Bear Sanctuary, home to the endangered sloth bear. Named after the picturesque Jessore hill, which is the second highest peak in Gujarat, the sanctuary is spread over an area of 180.66 sq km and houses a number of endangered species of flora and fauna.

One can find leopards, Rhesus macaque, Indian civet cat, porcupine, fox, striped, hyena and wild boar etc. It provides shelter to a variety of birds, including some rare species. The area was declared as a wildlife sanctuary in May 1978 and plays a vital role in conserving Aravalli's ecosystem, acting as a buffer between the desert and the forest. The best time to visit the sanctuary is after monsoon and winter.

Nothing to give less then 5 stars.....if you are a nature lover. Jessore has everything....lake, river, mountains to hike, if you are lucky - will get to see some rare birds or animals. But, apart from just sight seeing it has more religious importance as there is a temple of kedarnath and a cave of Muni Maharaj at the top. The cave is at 4.3 kms hike from the foot hill and the temple is around 2.5 km hike. Now there are proper steps so its easy now. The history of temple says that at the time of their van vaas, Pandav stayed there a night and they had water shortage so they prayed for devi ganga and jamuna and they provided their water through streams. So now there are two pools named ganga and jamuna where the water is always there, it does not dry out. Its a great feeling after you climb up to the temple and just sit their in the sanctum and vicinity of lord kedarnath.
Best time to visit is July to October. Also kedarnat has more traffic during Shravan Month. Please carry your own food and water......also in the temple you get prasad of dal bati and rice.
