There is only one mosque at Arab Mohalla known by the name masjid e uroob and the address is Arab Mohalla Raichur Hyderabad road behind Zilla Panchayat Office Raichur. This mosque originally built by some Arabs who migrated to India from Yemen nearly a hundred years back as Raichur was under the domain of the late Nizam government these Arabs were employed by the Nizam as security guards at Raichur Treasury. Eventually these Arabs built a small mosque and would spend their leisure time after prayers here itself. Thus this mosque came to be known as Arab Mohalla msjid or Masjid e uroob, as the years went by the local people extended this mosque and have added a 1st floor to it. There are still many a Arab families residing here for generations.
