I had my stay for 4 nights at citadel. I would recommend thus resort to everyone. The location is awesome, staffs are very friendly and nic3, owner is very accommodative of any request, food is delicious. On d whole I would suggest anyone and everyone to plan their stay at citadel. This was my 2nd time stay at citadel. Thank you citadel for making our trip memorable.

Awesome is d word that comes 2 my mind when I think of my stay at Citadel. It is located at a very serene location. If you are a nature lover, u will love ur stay here.

I went there last year for my honeymoon, reviewing now again because I went to Shimla Manali this time but compared this hotel with 2 properties i stayed at this time I found this hotel better.

Remote location but worth it for leisure purpose very much away from crowd
Food was very nice
Staff was good and courteous

Peaceful and serene is what I feel about this place people who want to stay calm can think of this hotel. hotel is located around 25 km from main Dharamshala but rooms are very clean and so are the washrooms..
Good hospitality and scenic views all around and a must visit if your looking to relax..

A place sooo good to stay and in peace. In a remote village far from City noise. Architecture is awesome. Staff is friendly and courteous. Food taste is great. Rooms are properly 3 star rating. Neat and clean. Would recommend for traveling with families

This hotel is located on a very peaceful serene place. On Architectural grounds, the hotel is a marvellous piece of creativity with mind boggling natural scenery. On the other hand, the staff is well behaved, professional and cooperative. The rooms are clean, organised and well presented. The food was awesome in its own way. I would like to visit the place more often. Thank you for a great experience!

This is no doubt a home feel place. The location, great food & hospitality makes it special for anyone looking for a different experience.

It was such a refreshing time my friend and I had there. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We wanted something to rejuvenate ourselves and we found this perfect gem of the place.
Everything from the courteous staff, home-like food to the gentleman Mr Bharadwaj (owner of the place) was the chef’s kiss indeed. The property is surrounded by the mountains and you see the snow mountain (the dhauladar range) from just outside the resort. The scenic beauty of the surroundings and the aesthetically pleasing quaint looking resort is very picturesque. You can trek there too, they can arrange that for you.
We didn’t feel like we were away from our home, we wanted to extend our stay TBH.
We will visit again and you should too.

One of the best place if you are on a workation or wanna immerse in the nature and stay away from the hustle bustle. The beautiful valley with shades of green is surrounded by snow hills creates a perfect frame to gaze at. Also, the varied flora and fauna with the flowing stream and cool breeze rejuvenates the mind and body. The amazing architecture with a few indoor sports and space for different types of users will definitely let you relax and restore energy.

Wonderful, secluded, fantastically located resort, just the perfect getaway spot! Majestic snowclad mountains on one side and pine tree hills on the other, this is a real resort. The staff are very courteous and the food very homely and tasty. Already decided to make it our special getaway spot whenever we can make it!

I visited this place on my way from dharamshala to dalhousie. It is quite in the interiors. Took us a lot of time to reach there, but oh my god what a resort and what a view. It is beautiful from every bit and corner. They were kind enough to give us an upgraded room. They have all the facilities in the room. Amazing breakfast and dinner buffets. The service was prompt and the staff super friendly. Plan to go again soon.

This place is heaven for nature lovers. The clouds, the river, the green mountains, roads full of sheep, the waterfalls, all these views from your balcony and wandering nearby. Absolute must go place in jiya valley for those who would like to relax and spend good time. Very good hospitality and even better views from the resort.. activities like pool table and tt table which I made use of after sunsets..

The Citadel Resort is a beautiful place to stay in a peaceful and calm location of DharamShala area in H.P. I have enjoyed the tracking and cleanest rivers at walking distance from the resort. The scenic views of mountains and rivers from the restaurant, lobby, and your own room is amazing and memorable.

Awsum place. The owners are an architect couple, and it shows. The spaces inside the resort are really great. 8ball pool, table tennis, badminton are all accessible and make a great pastime. Rooms, service, humble and polite staff. All trip arrangements are really professional and helpful. Worth every penny.
But only for young people. Not for specially abled or old, as there are staircase and level differences everywhere for the architectural character.

Despite the seeming distance the resort is easily approachable from Dharamshala / Palampur / Jiya. The rooms are spacious, airy and offer multitudes of landscapes ; and a panorama of the Kangra Valley in its heart.
The architecture is magnificent, and functional. Having known the owners personally I can speak for their vision and dedication. Amenities / guidance for camping, family recreation, corporate meetings, getaways, drives, treks and activities are provided for.
Sip a hot cup of tea by the window and settle in solace or enjoy bickering conversations with family and friends.

Last July was a Beautiful journey to the Jiya Valley, Citadel Resorts... a great retreat.. at hill top of the surrounding town. Mesmerizing sound of the river and presence of Dhaulagir range in backdrop ... This seems as a place where wonderful amalgamation of Architecture with Nature takes place.. would be great to trek and meanders into the thickets and trails of the valleys.. with cozy and comfort stay at Citadel Resort. I Stayed there for couple of days and wish to go once again. Food is good.. and Specially ‘Hot Tea’ is awesome..also a great palace to photograph sunset and Birds!

This place is sooo beautiful, has a perfect view for all the nature lovers out there 😊. The food served here was awesome 😋. It's a little out there and will take a bumpy ride to reach but it's worth it. It's worth it 🙂

Beautiful view... Extremely polite staff... Friendly and extremely helpful hosts... A location away from the everyday chaos and pollution... Delicious home like food... An amazing resort in the valley worth visiting for a peaceful holiday... Loved it... Would love to come again and again...
