Really very nice place, people are very helpful and easy to travel

This is one of the busiest ferry ghat in the district. From morning at 5:30 to Night 11:00 the ferry runs. After 11 p.m boat is available for emergency services. Boats are also available for reservation. The fare is very low as compared to the fare in Kolkata Ferry Ghats. This connects swarupganj to Nabadwip and Mayapur. All the tourists and pilgrims cross the Ganges and Jalangi using this ghat. This ghat is situated in two different places. One is for going to Nabadwip and the other is for going to Mayapur. Moreover there is a connector of boats between Nabadwip and Mayapur. We, as students depended on this ghat for going to school.

Any piece of land which is touched by the holiest river on the planet, the Ganges, is always beyond words. This Ghat is no exception, and more so because it takes us - just on the opposite banks- to one of the sacred places of not only Bengal as a state, but also this country!

Hundreds and thousands cross the Ghat everyday and land to Nawadeep dham, to experience a sense of that divine existence as preached by Lord Sree Chaityanya and also all the great monks and saints of the religion, who followed Him and devoted life to the same!

More than three decades back I came here the first time in life along with my maternal grand parents and parents. That was also the first I went to Sree Radharaman Bag or more commonly known as Sree Samaj Bari, in the heart of this town. In between have returned here several times - with the family for different rituals! But those memories of the first visit came along the mind today, over and again - while also crossing the river with other fellow passengers in one of those motorised ferries as used in these days .. the ancient meets the modern!

Time speedily flies by, dear relations pass by, just like today, as Maa Ganaga amidst the monsoon, was flowing by... passengers were hurriedly crossing by....in.this journey there is no waiting for anyone...

Very good kheya Ghat.From early morning to night(upto 10pm) kheya available. Minimum Ten thousand passengers daily up down from this kheya ghat.stuffs are very well behaved and helpful.
