URBAN DHABA

While cruising through NH44, I came across this restaurant on the service road that caught my eye. Opting for a change from the usual food spots, I was pleasantly surprised by the garden dining setup, complete with a large screen playing Tamil movies. Dining amidst the greenery was an extraordinary experience, complemented by soft lighting that added to the positive ambiance. Tried their Biriyani—it wasn't extraordinary, but undeniably tasty. The vast garden area can accommodate groups of any size, and the attentive staff ensured our needs were met.

While perusing the menu, the enticing Idly and Mutton combination dishes caught my eye, but regrettably, they were unavailable during our visit. Rest assured, I am keen on revisiting this restaurant to indulge in this intriguing combination in the near future.

Highly recommend for those craving an extraordinary dining experience.

Food was tasty but some food was served late and not hot, especially the butter naan. Other than that it was good. Crab 🦀 claw was fantastic and crispy. Gobi Manchurian was tasty. Kids friendly and ample parking provided.Atmosphere is with less light during the night as they have a projector screen to show movies. Could have been better.But if you are a movie freak then you could enjoy your favourite movies in this screen and some songs.Unfortunately, we did not taste mutton sheek kebab due to non availability.May be next time 🙂

Happen to visit the Urban Dhaba after a long wait with my friend. Ambience was too good and arrangements made inside the place were nice. Only thing is after some 8PM lots of mosquitoes will surround you.. parking is very huge space since it's in high way road. Ordered country chicken soup, pulka, tandoori and chicken pattiyala is the signature dish of the Urban Dhaba.. must try for sure both hospitality and food quantity and quality are too good. Recommend strongly

Two - The Appearance & Experience of this place!

Honestly didn’t even want to make a pit stop, was eyeing places as I was driving when I saw this decent looking place from the service road & decided to make a stop.

At first impression this just seemed like a regular place, But man oh man did my perspective completely change when I took a few steps below & my mind was blown! It’s a hidden treasure. Gorgeous mini huts for families to sit & dine at, Pretty parks, great play area for little kids, swings! A Trampoline and even a Hammock! What could one ask for? It’s like a mini retreat spot that you can chill for hours.

The service was absolutely astounding, Didn’t expect such hospitality and I’ll tell you why, I did just enquire if you’re on Google Maps etc. The person attending to us switched to our local location though he was a local of TN, He then was super nice, he brought a bunch of roses and said please carry one each as a sign of positivity. And it was such a breath of fresh air to get an experience like this.

As for the food, which should be the main essence of this review. Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to taste the food. We did just have some tea & that was about it. The presentation was impressive and the tea was good too.

Definitely want to stop by here on the way back and taste some good food too, perhaps I’ll update my review based on that.

Their smoky flavors makes us forget any delicious continental meals in the best of Fine-Dining restaurants. That’s the reason why Dhaba culture is budding in and around the cities. The Food & Fun loving crowed of all ages prefer to spent the good times at the places like these.

Wow.. the place was fantastic.. such a wonderful place with kids play area.. we went there by 11pm.. we have a tea and coffee. They also offered fresh juice.. the place has wonderful huts to have romantic dinner.. they even had trampoline for kids under 10 years of age..

We went to this place on the way to Kanyakumari from Madurai. Ordered fish fingers, fish meals, spicy paneer pizza and butterscotch milkshake. Everything was delicious and finger licking good. Nice play area for kiss, very good.music playing with a mix of hindi, Tamil and English songs. All in all a great satisfying experience

Buddy highlight of this resto is amazing music collection, enables ultimate relaxation.
I resemble this restaurant with the 1 in Chennai ECR.
Finally 1 good resto entertaining spot @ Nellai to spend quality family time.

Pizza was way too good but the milk shake was a tad bit sweeter for my liking...

I gone 5 to 6 times in this hotel..... All food is satisfied so all the best 💯 price worth. One thing good atmosphere 🤙
