Villupuram - The Birth place of Maha Periyava. Maha Periyava also known as the sage of Kanchi, was called and considered a ” walking god” by his devotees. That is because he helped and performed plenty of miracles to provide relief from their problem to his followers who came to see him.

This is a place we were longing to visit for a very long time. We feel blessed after visiting the Sankara Matam. This is where Maha Periava was born.

Birth Place of Shri Shei Jagadguru Maha Periyavaa. Spacious. Veda pathshaala is being rum by rhe Mutt. Devotees may donate in cash or kind for running the trust. Bhajan, Katha kalashepams are organised. A very pious place.

Divine place, every Hindu who believes in Guru, must visit, guruvae saranam

serene atmosphere. Pujas are performed in traditional way and Veda patashala is churning out scholars
