Chilika Ecopark

This is my review about Chilka lake, it is odisha's largest and india's second largest brakish water lagoon which is spreaded in many districts of Odhisha like Puri, Ganjam, Khurda. I visited it when I went Puri to watch Jagannath ji temple. It is very beautiful place to enjoy the beauty of nature.

A beautiful park with a lots of greenery and a Giant Blue wheal skeleton. This was a discovery while coming back from the satapada sunset point. The entry if the park fascinated us to go in with a dolphin's statue. After entering the park we experienced a well managed one with lots of greenery and beautiful landscaping . The main attraction for all is the giant Blue wheal 's skeleton. The one is so gigantic that a complete house is built to disply it . The details are available on the board . Have never seen such a large skeleton . MUST MuST watch if you are around . We only for kids there is a unique lighthouse slider where they can enjoy sliding and this is too photogenic . The park is a great place to finish off your tour with few nice clicks .

A huge blue whale fossil is hidden in this eco park, we almost missed it because you barely see any informative boards. It's opposite to the chilika museum gate. I wish they had maintained the enclosure :(

Surrounded by palm trees and green grass lawns, a nicely maintained Ecopark situated just beside the Chilka Museum a truly a paradise. There is a 10 metre long skeleton of a whale on display inside a glass room and it is said that the whale was washed up on the shore here around 2007-08. It is a nicely maintained garden with proper sitting arrangements and a great place to spend some peaceful time.

It is very beautiful place near satapada motor boat association. It is around 1300sqm area,of coconut trees and many more attractive creativity to attract tourists. Many people are going to this place for rest and enjoying the southern wind all times.

Chilka is an unbelievably vast lake with river dolphins... Satapada needs to make it visitors friendly to attract tourists, it doesn't even have basic requirements like clean washroom, shades to even to sit and enjoy the surrounding...
