cost is high but many varieties of fishes

Had variety of fishes but the thing is cost. it's high, I visited all aquarium shops in Vellore found some good shops selling with acceptable price. I suggest everyone to compare the cost with other places and buy' if you're planned to setup a new fish tank it is always good to compare in all places in your locality.
this is a good place you can find varieties of aquarium accessories and fishes.

An ok place with minimum fish collection

Had a terrible experience
The store had dead betta fish in tanks (live ones were there as well)
Fish didn’t look healthy and were lethargic
Tanks are sold at a higher price you would be better off buying imported tanks from other shops nearby or if you want a regular tank you can get cheaper ones in bagayam or near old bus stand
Owner had an attitude and was not willing to explain about the maintenance requirements or the size of tank needed for the fishes

He expects you to choose the fish and pay
Not a shop for amateur hobbyists but if you know your stuff and are well versed with prices you could try to negotiate

However the elderly gentleman in the shop always tried to help
