We went to see the campus of MS Ramiah institute of technology today. We are looking for an institution for higher education in Bengaluru. As a child we used to pass by this college everyday. And today we went there to seek admission for our son ! For many years or probably even decades we have not been to this area , as we reside in southern part of the city.
The campus is well designed and compact. The entry is very modest. It is not grand but minimalistic and functional .It soon leads to its centerpiece,the college square. A football field sized square forms a rendezvous for students and cultural activities. This square shaped area is flanked by department of all engineering sciences.
The faculty of law, management studies, arts and commerce are co located. A boundary wall seperates it from its medical College campus and hospital.
There are hostels, cafeteria and facility for sports like basketball, tennis, gym and indoor games available. The campus is clean with well manicured gardens.
It surely reminded me of my college AFMC in Pune.
Compliments to the whole team of the management of the college. They help in nurturing the future of our country.

Good institution. The campus environment is excellent. It's located in the center of the city(the Silicon Valley of India). It is well connected by BMTC buses which ply here from almost all parts of the city. The nearest bus stop is just about 2 minutes' walk from the main gate of college.
Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and special dinner is provided by the mess comprising of both North and South Indian food items. The Mess Committee made up of student representatives from different parts of the country decide the mess menu on cost sharing. Eight heavy duty washing machines in the old block provide for free laundry services.
Ironing of clothes at subsidized rates.
Large recreation halls equipped with LED TV's, newspapers and magazines in each of the three hostel blocks. Indoor and outdoor games facilities. Availability of light refreshments from the canteen up to 12 midnight.

Faculties are highly qualified , placements are good . Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT), formerly M.S. Just like most colleges in India, 90 percent of these companies come only for cs, is, tc,ece branches. Because of this other branches are also forced to learn IT stuff. Otherwise also most people get placed, which is very good. Teaching is average, and the playground is barely free. The fests, events, tech fests and competition opportunities are excellent. The clubs here are also great and filled with the most talented people. I would say if you end up in this college, you'll definitely get a good job and better life skills. It located within the city, so transportation won't be a big problem

This place is good to feel. This place has got Hospital, Medical College, Engineering College, Diploma College, PUC college, Business School, Law School etc. From my childhood iam seeing its growth and construction. I have never seen a day that their has not been construction work going on. Its like that its adding many structures to old structures and so on and so forth. My son studied his ME from here. This Group has got ebery thing to every individual. From poor to rich and from each and every religion.
