Beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha Swamy. Located at 5 - 6 KM from Chikballapur. Narrow approach to this great temple runs through village house and in the end of that road, you will find this great historic temple. Lord Ranganatha is so beautiful and he can see him all day without any second thought. Prior to my visit people scared me of monkey menace and fortunately I did not encounter any of them during my visit.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful temples. This one is called as Moksha Ranga. The temple is more than 1000 years old. The deity of Ranganatha Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhoodevi is really good. It is carved out of a single saligrama stone. From the window hole you can see the feet of the lord. Every year on Makara Sankranthi festival, When the sun rises, the sun rays fall pass through the window and fall on lord's feet.

This temple is serene. A very peaceful without any much of crowd. The presiding deity here is Sri Ranganathaswamy . This is one of the oldest temples in Bangalore . Also this place is filled with monkeys, one should be careful with their bags and belongings.

1000 yrs old temple. Tha idol is believed to he installed by saptharishis during Thretha yuga end period. Beautiful saligrama moorhty of Sri Ranganatha swamy with sridevi and bhoodevi. On every Makara Sankranthi day , first rays of Sun fall on lotus feet of swamy. The govt should improve the approach road and there should be prominent signboard.

The place is filled with monkeys and one needs to be extremely careful around them. However, the temple is extremely serene. We visited the temple during the early hours of the day. It was beautiful. The idol worship, the morning shloka chant, the unique prasadam, all made the visit extremely memorable.

Pleasant atmosphere. Calm with a reasonable count of monkeys around the premises. Idol in the temple was big and beautifully sculpted. You feel a sense of strong divine experience inside the temple.

Lovely temple - which can be combined with a visit to the Isha foundation . A unique representation of Lord Ranganatha ( Vishnu in reclining posture ) with his consorts as well . The temple has good parking and is a km short drive from the main road . Monkeys are a plenty - so to ensure that they do not harm devotees or the sanctum , there is now a grill covering the entire main centre of the temple , which while practical is sadly robbing the temple centre of its beauty . Nevertheless a great stop over

Amazing calm place, not very far from Bengaluru. A refreshing retreat from the daily hustle of city Life. Amazing architecture and sculptures on the pillars. Early morning sunrise at the temple is a glimpse not to miss. There are many monkeys but that's ok. Do surely visit this place which runs through some scenic backdrops which satisfies your camera and your souls.

A very beautiful temple with a good architecture, near to Kolar. I had visited during weekend crowd was less. It is an offbeat place. Plenty of parking space available.

Ranganath temple located in remote village on the outskirts of Bangalore gives you goosebumps with the architecture.

The temple is more than 1000 years old and caters bhagwan vishnu on shesh naaga.

The gopuram is.huge and similar to the bhoga nandishwar temple in nandi village near by.
It opens between 7am - 1pm and 4 pm - 7 pm

Sri Ranganatha swamy (Vishnu) is built in a single saligrama stone. Once in a year during Makara Sankramana sun light directly falls on the lotus below the steps of Lord through window.
It has recently become popular as travellers and devotees visit here due to its proximity to Isha foundation, Chikkaballapur.
