Nice Divine and Devotional place, Very Clean and Well Maintained, and do also visit maharaj samadhi which is situated at the above mountain from there you'll get to see scenic view of nearby area. Do visit natural hot water springs which are located few kilometre away from temple. I visited this temple in early morning on weekdays so there was no rush and was very peaceful.

Very spiritual place, very nice close to nature atmosphere near the temple, there are stairs to get in, or you can go to to top with your car through a narrow ally way to the left of the stairs, and then there is ramp to get to the temple

The Puranas mention that thousand years ago when rakshas (demons) trouble the Rishis (sages)of this area performed trichandi yagna to please the goddess, but they miss to give offering to God Indra,Enraged, Indra hurled his Vajra - one of the most powerful weapons in Hindu mythology- at the yagna. The terrified gods and sages prayed to the Goddess to save them. The Goddess swallowed the Vajra and humbled Indra but also killed the demons.

Vajreshwari is well known for its temple and hot water springs. There are 52 steps to climb up to the main temple. One can have a view of the surrounding area from the temple. The view is beautiful particularly during monsoons.

Good place for a spiritual short trip on weekends. The temple is well maintained and has serene vibes.
There is one more temple in the premises of Saint Godhade baba which has a scenic view of the river and nearby villages.

This famous temple from Palghar district is located in the town Vajreshwari. The town, earlier known as Vadvali, was renamed Vajreshwari in honour of the presiding deity of the temple.
The temple was constructed by the great Maratha warrior Chimaji Appa in 1739.This temple's architecture is based on Vasai Fort.
Along with the main idol of Goddess Vajreshwari maata, there are also idols of Renuka maata at her right side and Kalika maata at her left side, accompanied by Parshuram and Vyagradev idols.
In temple premises, there are also many small temples of Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Hanuman, Dattaguru, etc.
Navratri Festival, Chitra Amavasya and Kojagiri Pournima are the three main festivals which get celebrated at the temple as a big celebration.
There are famous hot water springs in a five-kilometer radius of the temple.

The holy pilgrimage dedicated to Mata Vajreshwari (who said to be incarnation of Goddess Parvati), Mata Renuka, Mata Kalika and Mata Mahalaxmi is located on the banks of Tansa river in Bhiwandi city and 40-45 km from Thane.
We travelled by road(on bike) from thane > Kalher> Bhiwandi> Ambadi Naka> Vajreshwari that took 1hr 15 minutes considering road conditions!
Need to climb 52 steps to reach temple that gives beautiful view of village!
Stay and food options are available near temple.

Vajreshwari Temple and Ganeshpuri are closeby and are covered in one trip.

It is a long journey so advisable to go there with a private car. The roads are nice. Temple has good vibrations and feels good. Need to take a thali which is available just opp the temple stairs. Not much of climing but if you have severe knee pain issues then avoid it.

HOT WATER SRINGS/GARAM PAANI KE KUND:
There are 4 kunds at Ganeshpuri and a few at Vajresjhwari alittle away form the temple (need to drive till there). But it does not look hygienic as it is always occupied by locals. So do not expect a lot from there.

Both Ganeshpuri and Vajreshwari temples are nice and try to finish your visit before sunset.

Food:
Not plenty of options for food - can have just snacks and they are very tasty. So have lunch/dinner outside somewhere and have Vada Pav etc at the temple.

Overall a good timepass trip with family...
