Sri Veerabhadra Swamy Temple

The view from the temple is so cool. It being in between Godavari river has a view of river water all around the temple. Reaching the temple via a short water trip in launch is a thrilling part. The river is clean at the temple's side of the river where we can have some fun, spend some time, and play in the water. It is a very good and suggested place to spend time for families and for picnics.

Temple on island of Godavari, Full pack during Shivaratri. Earlier was reached by steamer & launchers from patti seema but now a 5 km walk required on sand. Only visit open when water level is low during winters

Visiting this temple is equal to visiting kasi.
Please confirm before you go there whether the boat service is available or not because sometimes due to increased godavari flow or government restrictions the boat service to reach the temple is paused.
We are lucky that on the day we went to temple a local leader came for dharshan so we are able to go with him to the temple in godavari overflow time. So must and should inquire before you go there.
Coming to the experience of temple it was amazing especially the boat journey and from the temple you can see one side it has water other side it has sand.

One of the must visit temples near Rajahmundry. Temple is situated at the center of the Godavari river. The view of the river from this temple is excellent. I have recently visited this temple. The boat service is good while going. But while coming back, we waited for nearly 1 hr for the boat🥲.

Famous temple near Rajahmundry surroundings. Boat journey to cross the Godavari river was nice. Visit on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri the crowd the lighting was awesome. On that day no boats, they will arrange a walking way to cross the river it was cool. You can bath on the bank of the river and play in the sand on the evening. Sunset view also excellent to see.

Pattisam is the sword veerabadra swamy used during daksha yagna dwamsam@Daksharamam(Draksharamam).Pattisam(Pattiseema)is the place where blood on the sword is washed in godavari according to puranas.Later he went to Munimandali (Muramulla).A beautiful Bhavanarayana swamy temple is also here as Jambavantha did pinance during Gajendra moksha time.

One of the oldest Lord Shiva temple located at this Godavari river center point (Island) we have to go by boat only, if you here add in must visited place 👍

Pattiseema veerabhadra Swamy temple located in the Godavari , here one can see swayambhu of Shiva lingam also known as one of the Pancha Kasi Saiva khetrams, also you can see one of the bhavanarayana temples of Telugu states has old Purana gadha and historical story of this place and Siva ratri puja offerings attracts lots of people nearby.. people experience the light feeling and positive energy in this place , one can reach from rajahmundry traveling 40kms by road and has to cross the Godavari on the boats of West Godavari river banks..

Pattiseema is about 1.5 hours from Rajamahendravaram. It is a beautiful scenic place, with an island temple.
Amidst water on all sides, this temple stands Elegantly over a hillock. One needs to climb about a hundred steps in all to see all the deities.
From one side of the banks of the river, there are ferries that charge you a nominal fee of Rs. 20 and take you across the shore to the temple. Once inside, you again need to pay another Rs. 20 to get up the temple.

Take your own sweet time to enjoy, relax and calm yourself down. Read the history of the place before visiting; you will enjoy it even more.

across the river we reach temple very peaceful Lord bavannarayana sametha badhrakali we built small house with small cement bricks which is a belive in god we will construct new building in soon in real life 😍

I visited this temple during mahashiva ratri,this temple is on top of hill,Best time to go early in the morning ..
It gets super hot in day time,we have to walk in sand minimum 2 kilometres. It's located in middle of River godavari.prefer this place during festivals,very good and nice place to visit...

Beautiful temple on the bank of river godavari.Powerful God and very popular tourism spot.The road between rajahmundry to pattiseema via Tallapudi is good for driving. And u catch the boat it will drops nearest to temple and u will walk on Godavari sand almost one kilometer to reach the temple .Temple is awesome. Food is not available in temple. Only Mondays are food is available.
