Silver Sand Sentinel, Port Blair

The rooms were a bit old style, but they were clean, neat and tidy. The bathrooms were neat as well. The employees were very helpful and the check-in and check-out process was very smooth thanks to the reception team(Iba and her team). We had an issue with the air conditioner and even when we called the desk at 10 PM, they were able to resolve the issue for a hassle free stay. The buffet and the restaurant was good. Overall a pleasant experience at Sentinel.

PS: please keep a mat inside the bathroom as the water may be slippery at times near the door.

The place was fantastic with good views and spacious rooms. Although we were busy visiting Ross Islands and Chidyatapu during our stay here but overall in terms of comfort and amenities it was good. However, the place is on the premium/ luxury side so food and drinks were on the expensive side. We had breakfast here which was good for the lunch and dinner we preferred eating out.

Best hotel during my 6N stay in Andaman. Great location, close to the airport. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are great, beds are cosy. The pool and restaurant services are also excellent. Would recommend staying here!

Rooms were good and spacious. Special mention for the staff at the hotel; they were very nice and courteous. We also visited the bar and were well taken care of by Arpan and Partho. Arpan served us with a smile on his face.

Cozy place with bar and swimming pool. Very cooperative staffs . Location is good in a quiet area. 5 minutes walking distance from market place.

Great food, comfortable and well done rooms. Very well looked after by the staff and team. The team went out of their way to see that all our requests were fulfilled.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to stay there service was top notch. They upgraded our room to the luxury category without any extra charges. Their food is slightly on the expensive side but its understandable as they have to maintain such a great property. Their staff is kind and polite. Worth an experience.

The hotel is really good! The staff at the hotel are really friendly. Rooms are very neat and clean... Our stay at Sentinel was 3 days long and was full of fun. The food served was good! One should definitely consider staying at this hotel if planning to visit Port Blair. The hygiene, cleanliness, courteous staff, sumptuous food made it the ideal hotel to stay put for as long as one wants. The staff is very considerate and let us stay 2 to 3 hrs past the check out time since our flight was delayed!

We enjoyed the delicious cuisine at the hotel's in-house restaurant, which was a delight to our taste buds, and the poolside bar served up refreshing cocktails and snacks.

The hotel's location was also a highlight of our stay, as it offered easy access to the bustling city center and the breathtaking natural beauty of Andaman. The staff was always on hand to provide us with insider tips and recommendations on the best local attractions to visit during our stay.
Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at Hotel Sentinel, and we are grateful to the entire staff for making our stay such a memorable one. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Andaman, and we hope to return soon to relive the wonderful memories we created there. Nice and cooperative staff. Beautiful property. Excellent and delicious food served. Good swimming pool, but need more maintenance. They also have a bar, but it’s very very expensive. Charge ₹299 for 30 ml Bacardi white rum. Cool place to stay.
