Hornbill Nest Resort

We stayed at this Resort end of January for 3 nights. We had booked the Super Deluxe Room, it's very comfortable, has a great view of the sea and all the facilities.

Everything Is Good About this resort only things it requires improvisation in providing additional facilities and inddor resort activities.
No nearby shops and travel need to be arranged
Sunrise can be easily viewed from rooms

Brilliant views of the Andaman sea. The hotel is maintained decently. I am surprised this was not crowded as one would expect. The staff were courteous and the place is located well outside of all the Cityness so that you can enjoy nature from a perfect vantage point. Spent only just one day here, did not plan any visits within port Blair. Just to enjoy this serene location and views of the sea. I would recommend this place to those who like to disconnect themselves. Great wifi available throughout the hotel, however not great mobile signal of Airtel or Jio. Not sure about bsnl as I don’t own one.

Overall this location deserves 5 stars.

Very nice resort. One should definitely go for it. Location is superb. Super deluxe rooms are very big.
The only thing which I didn't like is the food. It's kinda average. Seems like eating in a local dhaba. Otherwise it's a very very nice resort. We stayed there for 3 days.

The view is out of this world, from the room, especially for sunrises! A true nature resort with the best location, if you are a nature lover. The birds there are a delight to see! Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Mr Umar who helped us with our sightseeing, getting around in Port Blair and restaurant services. The rooms are clean, and the restaurant has good food (especially fish and rice).

This is my first place to stay in Andaman and it's really worth.
So peaceful and Calm resort. Just memorable.
It has got beautiful sea view. Plenty of walk area and Greenery
Staff behaviour is polite.
Can't expect this level of standard in Govt property.
Price is around 5k per day for Deluxe room.

This resort is best price also decent its a government property and from your rooms you can have panaromic view of the sea. A walking distance to corbyn beach.

This is one of nice resort in port Blair. Amazing experience staying there, beautiful sea view and nearby by beach, services were good too. Overall great experience.

Excellent hosiery shop with wide variety and quality stuff. The shop houses clothes for all section of people and for all age groups in a very reasonable price.

The place is recommended for all looking for quality clothing with or without popular brands.

One of my family's best shopping mall in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, quality of clothes are always good, lots of collections and all categories of clothes are in one roof so I like it very much.

Pleasant ambience in the midst of nature and away from the hustle bustle of Port Blair. Located on the road head and easy to find. Well furnished cottages and the super deluxe row of cottages have a beautiful view of the sea. It's run by
ANIIDCO and has good service and pleasant staff.. Good food and well stocked bar.. Perfect getaway for couples and families alike..

If you're looking for a beach side resort then this is it. You get a good view of beach. The rooms are adequately done, but there's huge scope of improvement . You might say that some part of it is neglected totally. During the night you can enjoy a bonfire and the cool breeze amidst the raging waves. Coming to the quality of food served is decent, the morning buffet breakfast is perfect and served at 6 am..So that one can leave early for the day....
There are no mobile services so you rely on wifi at reception

Great approach to the property, road winding through tree laden avenues, lady at reception was efficient, staff friendly and customer oriented. Food was OK not heavy masala, not authentic Goan or malabar curries, biryani was not an authentic biryani but was good to eat. Bar seems well stocked, need to check availability. Views are to die for, the sea and islands laid bare for your eyes to feast on, vantage point is the resort is on a hill.
However their main attractions 'waves' restaurant , where sea waves lap your feet, they did not let us access or use.

A great value for money place in Port Blair. Since the resort is run by the government, it gives priority to people who work in the Government. Some groups at the resort can be very noisy and tiresome when drunk. Food and service is quite good. Rooms are extremely comfortable, well appointed and clean. Good view of the sea from the resort. It’s a little away from Port Blair, you will have to have a vehicle on call if you choose to stay here. The resort is about 20 minuets from the airport. Makes for a very pleasant stay especially in the off season.

Hornbill is one of the best resorts in Port Blair. The staff is amazing and North Indian food is too good.
Their breakfast is nice and their Dal Makhani and Dal Tadka is to die for.

One of the best resort in portblair, were you and your family will have pleasent stay. Good service, well behaved staff and great food choices. It also has an amazing view of corbyn's cove beach. This resort has an amazing sunrise spot.

We had sea facing rooms which were spacious neat and clean. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The sunrise n sunset was a treat to the eyes. The sound of the waves with light music was a dream come true. A memorable stay.
