Sunnyvale Andaman

We had booked for a night initially as its closer to Phoenix Jetty, easily walkable from this homestay. The rooms were clean and spacious, this place is also very near to Airport.
We had a pleasant experience and definitely felt its value for money.

There is a common kitchen space available with microwave and induction and basic utensils.

A great place near the sea at Port Blair. This place provides food and the best quality rooms. The service is very good. This can be a good place to stay in for tourists who are visiting Andaman.

Best place for a Home like stay in Andaman. Having our ferry to Havelock at 6:30 in the morning, had leave early by 5:30, even at that early in the morning the host was soo responsible in handing breakfast to us before time. Also the rooms are spacious and common kitchen is also very clean having a dining area attached to it. Go for it without a second thought.

One of the best option if you want to stay near Airport and Phoenix Jetty.

The sandwich for breakfast was good and owner is courteous. Highly recommend it

We stayed there for 2 days, their breakfast was simple but it was worth it. The rooms were clean neat and hygienic. The best experience with this was it was always calm. The host was another awesome thing to go back here.

This Hotel is excellent in all aspects. Room is spacious, neat and clean Location of hotel is nearby Phoenix bay jetty (Walkable distance). I will recommend this hotel for your stay to feel like your own home.
Cellular Jail, anthropological musium, marina park is nearby only, can be reached by walk or auto rickshaw by paying Rs 40/- only.

It was a pleasant stay at Sunnyvale. Thanks to the owner. She was polite and welcoming. Rooms were clean and maintained. Well connected to major location. Transportation easily available. Breakfast was also nice.

I stayed here for 1 night before heading back to Mumbai. The owner of this homestay is very nice and welcoming. The room was already ready on our arrival. It was a very basic room with all the basic amenities. There is not a great view but everything is clean, neat and tidy. The breakfast was included in the package and they gave us omelette bread and coffee which was very good. There is no provision of lunch or dinner at the property but you can find a menu card of a restaurant where you can order your food. At the time of checkout the owner was nice enough to arrange an auto for us. We could also stay at the property after checkout for few hours before heading back to catch our flight in the afternoon. Thanks for a great experience.

The lady who manages the place is so cordial and prepares delicious food.
They also provide an open kitchen.
It has cute balconies.
I loved this place.
We even stayed at other place in Andaman which was overpriced with missing hospitality. This place offers the warmth, all necessary services and is very economical

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in our recent visit, which we found delightfully accommodating and highly suitable for a family. We were 13 people including children and we had a great time. The building well planned and the rooms were very comfortable and pleasant to live in. We highly appreciate the way the owner Mr Nasir took care of us and helped us with the planning and arranging our tours by communicating with us days before our arrival. A real home stay with personal care which is missing in most hotels. It was really a trouble free tour. Even the caretaker Hassan was very nice and helpful.

We were the first occupants of this homestay and stayed on 20 October 2017. An exceptional host, Nasir went out of his way to help us and make our stay extremely comfortable. The rooms have been diligently designed and adequately spacious. The bathrooms are classy and spacious as well. Located close to the jetty is yet another advantage. Especially recommended for families. A memorable stay indeed.

Good and clean home stay. Clean room with a big bathroom which was kept very clean as well. Nasir and his staff were very pleasant and helpful. Kitchen crockeries were well kept and easily available for use by the guests. You can also use the microwave oven and fridge. If you have small kids then the kitchen area is really convenient and helpful as basic stuff like milk and sugar is easily available.

Firstly Thank You to Google reviews that I found this place..its hard to find hotels which can cater to the demands of your infants and that's why I chose this place after reading the reviews. As said about the place a simple, calm and cosy place located on the second floor at the center of the city with spacious rooms with all essential amenities. The best part about staying at Sunnyvale is the owner Mr. Nasir Hussain & care taker Hassan, excellent customer service also guidance on the journey ahead as one starts from Port Blair.

Mr. Nasir will help you out in just about everything from Booking your Ferry Tickets to your hotels to making your Travel Itinerary at a very nominal cost ...trust me I did my research in terms of costing. You will see a lot of foreigners coming to this home stay. I specifically recommend this place for families with kids as a small kitchen outside the room allows you to meet your kids requirements such as milk, warm water etc. as a plus you can ask Hassan for anything and he'll bring it to you.

He will arrange local transportation for you auto or taxi on request and the rates are fixed and justified with no bargaining or haggling with the drivers. Even the Restaurant that they suggested had excellent vegetarian & Non veg food with Phulka's ... Breakfast is provided by them which is a simple Bread Omelette with Butter, Jam, Tea & Coffee. (Probably this aspect can be improved with a couple of more options) ..Overall an excellent Place !! All the Best Mr. Hussain !!

Hotel room was clean and well maintained. Owner helped us with queries we had during the trip. Food was great and owner called us to know our plans and got the breakfast ready well in advance so that we don't leave with hunger. 😊👍

Nice homestay. Owner Mr Nasir and the boy is very helpful. They arrange our early morning breakfast to catch the ship. They can arrange car for trip or pick up & drop. Room is very clean as well as bathroom. Every room is well decorated. Price is justified. We just stay one-night, but it's home like feeling. Location wise it is in residential area and very peaceful.

Good homestay. They have 5 rooms in total. Rooms are big and clean. Washroom is clean & have 24hrs hot water. Owner is co operative. He arrange bike for us . There are not much restaurant near homestay. They have menucard in room from where u can order or u can ask for caretaker. He make tea and breakfast. Market is around 1km from here. Over all we enjoyed our stay here.
Special note : we got really fast WiFi here which is very rare in Andaman 😁

Best hospitality by owner Ma'm. Location is not too far from Aberdeen Bazaar. You would find all the homestay facilities, like Microwave oven, induction, refrigerator, RO, etc. Do not expect luxurious but super decent stay. Breakfast provided is really good.

We travelled as a group of 7 people to Andaman in Jan2018. We were in need of a good place to stay at in Portblair. We came across this property on Google. As soon as we read reviews, we were impressed and booked 3 rooms for 4 nights. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Nasir Bhai was very welcoming and helped us decide on itinerary as well. Has a good knowledge of places to visit in and around. Arranged good breakfast very early in the morning when we needed it. Overall, a very nice, comfortable and professional experience. Recommend Sunnyvale to all travellers.

Sunnyvale Andaman ended up being the last place where I stayed during my trip. It's more of a homestay with a separate room, like an Airbnb than a hotel. The hotel is owned and run by Mr. Nasir Hussain. He was very courteous and friendly at the time of check-in. The rooms are on the second floor of the building. One of their staff helped me with the luggage. My booking was for a deluxe room. The room was neat and tidy. I found the room to be quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable. My sleep quality was so good. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, and it's faster than what I expected it would be in the Andamans. Their Wi-Fi helped me connect with my family who didn't hear from me due to the poor network since I reached the Andamans. The bathroom was clean, and it had some shiny branded faucets. The bathroom had a bar of soap and some liquid hand soap for toiletries. The room had some basic furniture and a big cupboard for storage. There were hangers available in the closet as well. There's not much of view from the room, but it looked green with a lot of trees. I needed a scooty, and Mr. Hussain connected me with the respective people. My booking included complimentary breakfast at their dining area. It comprised of toasted bread, jam and some black tea. You could also request for an omelet if you wanted one. Given its prime location, it was very convenient for me to visit some attractions like Marina Park, Aberdeen Bazaar that was closeby. Cellular Jail is close to this hotel as well. Even though there was traffic on the road, there was no noise in the room. I didn't have any issues during my stay. I had a pleasant and convenient stay at this hotel. This hotel made my last day at Port Blair delightful. I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a comfortable room with basic amenities. I look forward to staying here in the future.
