Christo Mandir is very peaceful & famous to a roman catholic museum in Krishnanagar Church. Very nice P place & well decorated building.

In 2009, a grand structure called ‘Christo Mandir’ was built just opposite the old church.
This is a huge prayer hall-cum-exhibition hall, decorated with stunning sculptures of religious and social significance. On its outer wall, statues of saints like St Augustine, St Pauls, St Francis Xavier, St James etc. are installed.
The hall’s floor is all marble and the walls are embellished with sculptures and glass paintings depicting the life of Jesus and stories from the Bible. The hall has provisions for visitors to rest and pray.
The outer pediment of Christo Mandir has sculptures of famous figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, B.R. Ambedkar and even a British royal.
Standing on four heavily ornamented Corinthian pillars, the portico is supplemented by a massive wooden door with an engraved figure of Christ. The central arch at one side of the wall has sculptures showing Jesus from his birth to his crucifixion, while many scenes from the Bible are painted on the glass panes covering smaller arches.
Though the old church opens sporadically to the public, the new structure welcomes tourists on all working days. It is especially popular during the Christmas–New Year week, when tourists and locals alike visit the premises to celebrate. However, due to the pandemic, the revelry has been restricted to some extent.

Very nice place very big building. Well decorated. And its also talk about human creation and how they come to the earth, how Jesus born and how and why he died. And the stone work on wall is marvelous and glass work is amazing .maybe those glass are Belgium glass. Recommended should be visit.

This Christo mandir is located right next to the Krishnanagar Cathedral Church. The outer part of the mandir is decorated with various statues. Inside the temple, various important facts about the life of Lord Jesus Christ are depicted by murals and glass paintings. The roof inside the mandir is like a starry sky. It's an amazing place to visit.

The grand architecture called 'Christo Madir' built in 2009 is one of the must visit places in Krishnanagar. Built just opposite the old church this architecture is like a mixture of medieval and renaissance architecture, the statues of St Augustine, St Pauls, St Francis Xavier, St James and many others, the stained glass window depicting scenes from The Bible, the beautifully portrayed story embellished on the inside walls of the building with sculptures and most importantly the whole city painted beautifully in the ceiling.

The Cathedral in Krishnanagar is a very special place. Beautiful paintings of the Stations of the Cross adorn the walls. Unfortunately photography was not allowed. The church was a very peaceful place for contemplation. Next door is the Christo Mandir which we were told is a reasonably new building. The interior and exterior of this building were nothing but spectacular. Beautiful paintings, works of art, and statues adorn the interior.

Near Krishnanagar City Junction. Great mixture of Hinduism and Christianity. You can get is from the name. Great place to see. The inside decoration if fabulous. You can get a glace into Jesus Christs life with the painting inside. The idols are nicely done that it will spellbound you. There is a serene atmosphere inside. You can spend hours just meditating. Must see if you visit krishnanagar.

The Church's exterior is decorated with various statues. Paintings on the wall depict various important events in the life of Lord Jesus Christ inside the church. The roof of the church resembles a starry sky.

The place is neat & clean. The inside pictures and stories written on the rounded wall are nicely constructed. The inside & outside decoration is very beautiful. The place is very much peaceful. The place is one of the famous and must see spot for the tourists explore Krishnanagar.

Christo Mandir, a temple, a place to see, read and understand the life of Jesus Christ. Located at the heart of a busy street in Krishnanagar City, few minutes from the Railway Station. This place is well known among the locals and very easy to find. The locals also respect the place and it is located just opposite to Krishnanagar Cathedral. A visitor is advised to take some time in hand and go to this place and read and see the art form used to depict life of Jesus Christ. Peace be with you.

The most beautiful catholic construction in the city. It is an amazing pastiche of the stuffs from all religion base where myriads of gigantic and wonderful sculptures of the stalwarts of Christianity and all religions are featured. Remarkable work of art. In the interior there are mesmerizing frescos and paintings depicting the birth and fall and certification of Jesus Christ. A must see place in Krishnagar

Good. It's situated in front of Krishnagar Cathedral Church . On 25th December every year people go to visit it . And at that time a fair is held on the road which is organized by the local comity .
