Ramada by Wyndham Amritsar

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on a 3-week trip through India to visit his family and see the amazing landmarks and cultural history. This was definitely one of the highlights of the north-India wing of the trip. The hotel was clean and a very pleasant walking-distance to the Golden Temple. The room had nice amenities (including a working shower which is not always the case throughout India), and the food in the restaurant was absolutely lovely. I'd stay here again if ever we make another trip to India. Amritsar was a lovely city to visit and explore, and this hotel definitely kept us comfortable and well-rested.

I am glad that I chose this hotel during my visit to Amritsar. A team of no nonsense staff made the stay pleasant. Check in was easy. Food is as good as you get in the locality. House keeping is good. Proximity to the temple is a major attraction. Jalianwalabagh and partition museum which tourists should never miss is very close by. And being right inside a market makes things easy for shopping enthusiasts.

We arrived at the hotel without a reservation, and Simranjeet was at the front desk working. With the utmost professionalism and kindness, he arranged rooms for us with no difficulties.

The security of this building is high with a doorman at all hours of the night and two guards manning the exit and entrances.

An underground parking stall was provided for the vehicle and driver.

This building seemed fully accessible for those in wheelchairs with two elevators and staff willing to assist you if you had any issues.

Overall a great experience all thanks to the staff.

We had pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great as it is quite near to Golden temple, shops, bazaar and eateries. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They had good variety for breakfast and food was good.

Have stayed here before for its location close to the golden temple and shopping area. Decent hotel. Restaurant is good. The rooms are showing some signs of wear and tear now. Back side rooms have no view at all. Keep curtains drawn. Since the hotel is running full, expect some wait at check in. Staff is courteous and helps in a smooth experience.

Excellent rooms. Everything you ask for. Waiting lounge is very spacious. Staff helpful. They even upgraded us to interconnected room as we were a large group.
The only criticism is that they gave us the key to the room that was already occupied and I opened it to my embarrassment and found someone in there so obviously complained about it. Little attention to detail can do wonders.
Very close to Golden Temple. Lots of punjabi jutti shops around.

Great location. We walked to Golden Temple , Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum. Shopping was nearby(go to the shop right opp Ramada). Food options nearby. Thanks to the location, we visited Golden temple late night, early morning, all days comfortably. And more importantly, very friendly and pro-active staff. Each of them. Food at the restaurant is delicious too.

Ambience , room space , basic necessities in room are superb .
Staff during breakfast time are so courteous and generous.

I just returned from my trip to Amritsar where I had the most pleasant experience of staying at this hotel for 3 nights. Right from the door man, who always greeted you with a smile, regardless of what time of an hour it was, to the housekeeping, all staff here I dealt with just went absolutely above and beyond to provide the most pleasant and welcoming experience- they even did a welcoming diya aarti for my Mum, which was quite unexpected but a very warm gesture. I had a delux room and apart from the other amazing amenities in the room, my favorite was the "fully functioning", non-sqeeky, non leaking standing shower, which is rare to find. The room service was great, staff was super attentive & quick to respond and so was the front desk who was more than accomodating to my requests. Most importantly the place is extremely clean, well located right in the vicinity of the shopping market and steps away from The Golden Temple. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit the city.

We 2 families had come for a 2 day trip to Amritsar. The rooms are comfortable and airy. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean with an excellent set of service staff. Checkin took a little time, but otherwise the experience was great.

One never goes wrong with this brand, stayed several times, and never disappointed. Kind assistance on check-in from Manager, Sandeep, to get into the room effortlessly, although the hotel was fully booked. Overall experiemce was very good - food, service, establishment and stay.

Very good experience as the staff at the Ramada Amritsar Hotel was exceptional during my recent stay. The location is good and it is a 10-15 mins walk to the Golden Temple. The rooms are very spacious. We arrived past midnight due to flight delay and when we checked in, the front desk staff were quick and efficient, making the check-in process seamless. The housekeeping team kept the room spotless . The staff at the buffet breakfast were accommodating and served meals with a smile especially Rajwinder. Food served for breakfast the 3 days I stayed was about the same and reasonably tasty. Overall, the hospitality and professionalism of the hotel staff greatly enhanced my stay, making it a memorable experience.

Being very close to Golden Temple, it's an asset. Some issues during the evening if you are in a hurry. Food and hospitality were very good. Overall, it's worth staying if you want to visit all places like Temple, Jalian wala baug, and other places...

Stayed for two nights, booked through mmt so got a steal deal. Stuff was nice and helpful. Location was prime, 5-10 min walking distance from golden temple. Overall nice experience

Amazing hotel...amazing buffet... they upgraded us to the executive room complimentary...welcome drinks were offered and we're greeted with tilak bhoj

My friend book d this room and the interior is really beautiful. Expensive but made for the the niche who can afford it. Rest my kids enjoyed the ambience and the view was mind blowing from 5th floor.

Everything is great in this hotel, very warm staff, very close to all major attractions & golden temple.

Do stay in this hotel, you will not regret it

We have been visiting Amritsar every year once from past 14 years, except the pandemic year & have tried a lot of hotels for our stay. Past couple of years, we identified Ramada Amritsar to best fit our needs. Location is ok, not too far & not so close to Golden Temple & amidst shopping g paradise. The rooms are good & service is also really good. Just small hassle to get on, use GPS & follow it. Highly recommend if you are traveling with family.
