Kadalas Cafe

I stumbled upon this place by chance and had a wonderful time. The food, music, and ocean view were all fantastic. I highly suggest checking out this spot and trying their delicious dishes. This spot is situated close to the main beach in Calicut.

It's an aesthetic cafe with a sea view.. it's located near South beach Calicut and opposite Gujarati Street.. They serve burgers, smoothies, loaded fries, mojitos, teas, shakes and many more.. we had a mash up smoothie and loaded french fries which were tasty.. they also provided good service.. the main highlight of the cafe is the sea view.. it's mesmerizing to enjoy the warm and cool sea sitting there.. the evening sunset from there gives a refreshing vibe.. it's a cool place to have a nice time with friends and families, especially during evenings.. a small library is set up inside the cafe for book lovers..but only few tables are available and parking is difficult.. also people wait to occupy their seats and the sea viewing tables will be mostly occupied

I am pleased to share my detailed 5-star review for Kadalas Cafe. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking beach views – a truly mesmerizing backdrop that added an extra layer to the dining experience. The inside ambiance is also commendable, creating a pleasant atmosphere for patrons.

The cleanliness of the place is noteworthy; it's well-maintained, and I appreciate the seating arrangement facing the beach. It adds a serene touch to the dining setup. The cafe has successfully incorporated a coastal vibe, making it a delightful spot to enjoy a meal.

While the toilet facilities were clean and well-kept, one minor drawback was the challenge in finding suitable parking nearby. This aspect could be a bit inconvenient for patrons, especially during peak hours.

Overall, Kadalas Cafe offers a wonderful combination of scenic beauty, a comfortable ambiance, and cleanliness. Despite the parking challenge, the overall experience earns a solid 5-star rating from me.

Average food and drinks. Great location. The lighting inside the place is a bit off and doesn't complement the total ambience and it hinders the food experience as well.

A feel good ambience with a beach facing view.They have a good menu for customers. That includes mojitos,shakes, snacks, juices, hot chocolate, burgers, sandwiches, etc

Rarely restaurants have a combination of good food, great ambience and courteous service. Their starter creamy prawns stole the thunder. We also tried the delicious chicken wings and Alfredo chicken pasta. Thanks to manager Eby for suggesting their sister brand FOMY.

I am in love with this place. I visited today for the first time and fell in love with it. I’m definitely coming here often from now. My new go to place.

This hotel has two floors. The first floor has both ac and non AC option with the beach view. The ambience is quite good and cosy. The second floor is open and you can amazing beach view with the breeze. Ideal for a small get together. They do not serve alcohol.

Often difficult to find my kind of a space especially in Calicut! Kadalas is undoubtedly the best.. Never miss this place whenever I am in Calicut.. The ambiance, dim lighting, soothing playlist, and ofcourse their outdoor seating facing the beach - what else for a perfect evening!? Visited yesterday and the mild showers were an added bonus.. loved every bit of it..

They work on their menu and try to bring in varities which is appreciable. We ordered around six items and all of it tasted good! We tried their new grilled creamy prawns with a coconut gravy and omg!! Such a delicious treat it was..🤤🤤

Good food.The ambience was really pleasing. Customer care was also good.

The location is the USP. The rustic ambience and the sea view up and close is a treat for the eyes. Treating your mouth is also right up there. We had sticky chicken wings and sausage starters with hot chocolate and 'french press' milk coffee. The hot chocolate was average, but the coffee was really good. The chicken wings were good, have had better. The sausage starter was a non-starter.
They have a party space for 30-40 people and a sea facing open loft for a small gathering of 10 people at the most.
The location and the architecture of the place will standout in memory. Worth a visit.

This place is right on the beach and offers a fantastic sunset view. The place is well maintained and it offers 3 storey sitting arena.

Great place to spend an evening at and to have tasty food with.
This place has good interiors and clean views of the sea. The food is very fresh and quite tasty.
We ordered the sheperd's pie and chicken pot pie...
Both of it tasted good, especially the sheperd's pie.
It's not a dish that is common at many restaurants but this one was really good.
The owner seemed really friendly and approachable. He was curious to enquire whether I enjoyed the dish or not. If they keep this up, soon they could be the best cafe in Kozhikode.

Food is above average, so don't question the prices.
I finally had a mojito which was not over flavoured.
Ambience is surreal, even on a weekday evening.
Access to the beach on ground level.
Good to bring kids if you are on the ground level.
Toilet facility, private group area, parking etc. available.

Excellent. I had spent around two hours. I visited in the morning. Very courteous staff . I had spicy guvava drink . I liked it so much that I ordered again . I have also ordered one classic salted fries which was nice . Along with the food the view is very nice . I wish they could expand little menu to choose from . But you get nice food and view , what else you need . Good luck guys .

An amazing place to eat tasty food while relaxing and chatting. The aesthetics is well planned and developed. The food was awesome if a bit pricey. The presentation and the service was great.
Almost all tables have a great view of the sea and the beach outside. It gets crowded towards evening and might get hard to get a table.
Felt that the price was justified for the food plus the ambience.
