I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chaaya, and it was a delightful experience. The authenticity of the Malabar home-made snacks, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, was truly remarkable. The flavors transported me back to the warmth of a Malabar kitchen. The tea and coffee were also outstanding, perfectly complementing the snacks.Apart from the delicious food, the atmosphere at Chaaya was simply wonderful. It provided a cozy and inviting ambiance that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The combination of great food and a fantastic atmosphere made my visit to Chaaya a memorable one. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal.

The atmosphere at Chaya is nothing short of fantastic, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance for customers. One notable aspect that enhances the overall experience is the abundance of parking space. The convenience of ample parking ensures that visitors can enjoy their time at Chaya without the stress of finding parking..

For the snack lover in me, this was heaven. You form a queue like at a buffet dinner and move your way while asking the wait staff to fill your basket with the items you want. Billing is done at the end of the queue.

Tea, coffee and other hot beverages in sloppy cups need to be collected separately from a stall while facing the sweltering heat & bubbling milk from the stove. This was the only part that needed more to be desired, and was quite haphazard.

Seating was simple, majorly open air benches with a few tables inside. All over, literally a place you may wanna go everyday, at your own risk of contracting high LDL cholesterol. Stupendous variety and taste to go with it.

The soothing music played keeps you away from boredom
The masala tea is indeed a highlight
During the night usually some artists sings and it really adds to the night vibe
It's a really cool place to be with your friends and just be in the moment

My favorites are Chicken & Beef cutlets, Ilaneer drink in the bottle and tea with milk.

(Parking facility is limited. 4 wheelers can park alongside he roads)

The menu featured a wide variety of snacks, as well as an assortment of tea and juices. I opted for a refreshing tea and some chicken snacks, which were delicious.

The atmosphere at the tea shop was cozy and relaxing, with comfortable seating. The outdoor dining area was particularly enjoyable.

Overall, I would highly recommend this cozy tea shop with outdoor dining to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was charming and inviting. I'll definitely be returning in the future!

The ambience cafe gives is more worthy than the dishes offered there. It doesn't mean the snacks & drinks are of average quality, they also were of good quality and very impressed. Recommended for all class people. Outdoor seating is recommended as it gives us good feel. Loved it 😍

I really love this place. Great ambiance. You can sit here for longtime without getting bored. Situated very near to downtown. Best place to visit with friends. They've different kinds of snacks, teas and juice. Nice interiors. Very friendly staffs. Really appreciate their service.

Location and Access: Good place with good ambience and easily accessible.

Parking: They have enough spots for two-wheelers but don’t worry you have enough space to park your cars outside on the roadside (though they’re not designated for you to).

Food and Service: You’ll get different varieties of teas, snacks and juices. The counters are self-served. It’s ideal if you want to hang-out with your friends and have a nice cup of tea. We ordered both masala tea and lemon tea along with chicken pottitherichathu, chicken satay, chicken pullumuttayi and beef cutlet. You can have a good chit chat session with your buddies while listening to some background music.

If you want to drink a traditional hotel tea and home made snacks ,I will strongly recommend you you should come here 😋

The place has excellent vibes seating is practical but comfortable with abundance of greenery around .

The ambiance is the thing which attracted me.

Really good varieties of tea, cardamom tea was really refreshing and soothing,warm crispy and wide varieties of tea snacks are available.

It's a newly opened cafe in town for chaaya and snacks lovers. The first thing you notice is the beautiful flowers around there.. Great ambiance.. Traditional Malabar style snacks are the main menu available there.. It's so delicious and you may buy many.. Homemade snacks will really entice you. Great place for a tea time hangout with friends. Though some work is still going on, the premises is so neat and visually appealing.. Some rush may be seen during evening. Staff are so helpful and they accept card payments also. Plenty of seating. Parking is a bit problem.. Great experience with Koyikoden Snacks.. Kudos..

One of the coolest spot to chill. This has become the hangout spot. Located in the hear of city also away from the busy traffics. Ambient parking space, open air dine in make this place more attractive.

When I visit Calicut, I will have atleast some snacks from Chaaya! Either home delivery or eat in. Choice 1 for typical malabar snacks. Best time to visit is after 4pm. Then you can see the menu full (check picture). Good quality, very tasty.

Even if you visit anytime, if you wait, the staff will make the required snack. But its always a delight to see the snack counter full with different items!
