Serine place with a beautiful view. Evening time is the best to visit. The stones surrounding the garden is arranged in the shape of a cow on aerial view.
Good place for meditation also.

In deference to the wish of his mother, Acharya Vinoba Bhave had translated all 700 verses of Bhagavad Gita in Marathi. It was first published in the form of a book in 1932. He titled this book as Gitai, which means Mother Gita.

To create a memorial of his kulguru Vinoba's work Gitai, Shri Kamalnayan Bajaj conceptualized the Gitai Mandir which was agreed by Vinobaji. The shilanyasa (laying the foundation stone) was done by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and the construction was undertaken by the Kamalnayan Bajaj Charitable Trust. The construction of Gitai Mandir was completed in 1980. Vinobaji himself inaugurated it on 7th October, 1980 being the 50th anniversary of the commencement of writing of Gitai.

Filled with history of vinoba bhave japanese monk and mahatma gandhi, beautiful garden with cow shape 18 different type stones curved on gita slok , huge vishwa shanti stupa, cooperating guards who gave us the information about the everything there, and the whole area well maintained....

It is a beautiful and peaceful garden with memories of Acharya Vinoba Bhave.

Everyone should visit this place once i a life time.....the entire place is just like a holy book geeta....the entire geeta is written on stones....

The area is very clean and beautiful. Full of life and nature. You can see some squirrel running around along with different kinds of birds. There is Shrimad Bhagavad Gita written in stone pillars around the premises with the stone colour changing as the adhay changes. You can also see a museum there and the budha stupa .All in all a good place to visit.

A beautiful place to relax. The place is clean and has a very positive environment.

a unique temple in India as it has no deity or roof. It has only walls made of granite slabs (granite slab are arranging like cow shape checked in attached pictures) on which 18 chapters of Gitai (Shrimad-bhagwad-gita in Marathi) are inscribed. The walls enclose a beautiful little park. The temple was inaugurated by Acharya Vinoba Bhave in 1980. Beside it are two exhibitions about the lives of Acharya Vinoba Bhave and Jamnalal Bajaj.

It is the place I am familiar with since childhood, the old school days.. Gitai mandir, Shanti stupa was our favorite place to visit after school. Now Shanti stupa is closed for visit during covid but Gitai mandir is still open to read all that and to enjoy the vibes of it.

This place is some like heaven, because the scenery, silenceness of the place keep you calm and happy. There is a small budhism meditation centre you can go there and meditate for a while.

A renowned attraction in Wardha that attracts many visitors throughout the year. The place is famous for the inscription of 18 Gita verses on the vertically placed stones arranged in the shape of a cow, something which is very unique among the sacred and religious places in India. The Gita inscribed on the stones is a Marathi lyrical version of the original Bhagvat Gita translated by Acharya Vinoba Bhave. There is a place called 'Shanti Kuti' in the vicinity that portrays the life of Jamanalal Bajaj, Mahatma Gandhi and Acharya Vinoba Bhave in the form of historical pictures and textual information. The place is surrounded by big trees and has a serene and calm atmosphere. Downside is security guard doesn't allow more than 10 mins inside the place and ask to leave forcefully, that's probably due to the ongoing Covid pandemic which may be ok/acceptable, but not otherwise.
