Rooms are very neat and tidy. Excellent service by the serving staff. Lovely location if you want to get away from the crowd. Beautiful ambience, almost a home away from home. Finally the hosts are just amazing people, welcoming you and making sure that you are absolutely comfortable in all respects. And last but not the least the culinary skills of senior Mrs. Jamwal is just awesome. That surely is one of the main reason why we might come back. A must visit place for people who wish to relax and enjoy the beauty of himalayan nature.

Lovely location sitting in a valley overlooking a river about 60 feet away. My favorite part is they have an adorable Labrador who went out with us to the river and walked with us back home.
The hosts are really warm and have nurtured their backyard so well, you'd want to hang out longer.
The room is a nice size with a balcony overlooking the river and snow capped Himalayas. Perfect!

It is a good way to find a place to stay rather than hotels. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The best hospitality with all warmth of home. Food quality is superb.Overall, I am glad that my host has been very professional and friendly. Thanks Mohit Jamwal for letting me stay at your place. The house is perfect and quiet.

This was my first trip and this area and I am very proud for my decision to stay here they are very friendly and also make us feel like a family while we were there. they helped us plan our trip to Manimahesh this Homestay is at the perfect location while in between surrounded by the beautiful Hills and at the bank of a river highly and very highly recommended

Amazing hosts, Manish and Samyuktha welcomed to their house with open arms. Location of the homestay is awesome. You can hear Ravi river roar continuously which is like a music to ears. Food is delicious and lip smacking. They prepared special dinner on the occasion of my friend's birthday.

"The Home" is far from the city hustle in a village, Kuranh which is a plus point for travellers seeking refuge from crowd and looking for peaceful stay. One can easily hear the gushes of River Ravi right from the Room. The premises have a lot of trees laden with flowers and fruits; and is beautifully designed. One can literally see different variety of plants. The family is fond of animals and they take good care of friendly Glady (their lab), a couple of rabbits, guinea pigs and various birds. The hospitality of the family is prodigious and they keep on informing about what we ate, what we could see around, about their culture and a lot more. The food was tooooo good! The owner, Mr. Jamwal is well versed with the culture of Chamba and believes in spreading vibes of Chamba with the guests. Will definitely recommend people to take shelter at JVH.

One place in between three mountains, out of which one is covered with Ice. Must Visit. Very relaxed, awesome food. Like the name Home Stay, truely feels homely atmosphere. Cost effective and awesome view of lake in the background.

A great place to stay while in Chamba, slightly outside Chamba but the place is besides the river and they serve excellent Himachali cuisine. There's a lot of space in the property and the rooms are spacious. They also have a very friendly labrador 😍

I was invited to the Jamwal Villa by the wonderful family that runs the place. Manish and his very lovely mother who everyone addresses as Buji. Jamwal villa is surrounded by hills on all sides and the raavi runs right next to the house. But what struck me as soon as i entered the house was the warmth and generosity of the Jamwal family. Manish is so deeply connected to nature and his spirit of adventure coupled with a genuine concern for people and plants and animals is beautiful. His mother is an extraordinary person. Warm, kind and a brilliant cook but her most striking feature is her humility and self effacing nature.Her traditional food is enough reason to go there!! She cooks herself and serves you herself, its is a beautiful experience.!!! Living there was truly special because you feel surrounded by people who carry within them the spirit and beauty of the hill folks. While Chamba and particularly Mahela is a beautiful place, personally for me, getting to spend time with Manish and Buji was a privilege and a very special experience, i will cherish for the times to come . If you really want to experience a place and its culture and its people Jamwal Villa would be a perfect place.

The seed for the 7 lakes trek was sown a year back (2018) when during my Mani Mahesh Trek, Ricky (our guide) suggested 7 lakes as one of the most beautiful trek in the chamba region..Finally the d-day arrived on Sep 6 - Saurabh, Nishit and me left from Singapore for Amritsar and landed at 630 pm .. Sandeep was already Waiting at airport (he flew from Bangalore)...we immediately took a taxi to chamba (our target was to reach chamba by 2 AM so that we get some sleep and rest for next 4 days of trekking ..

We reached our Home Stay around 2 am—this is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed (this was third time for me- to me it Beats any 5 star hotel with just the love and affection of the Manish Family and not to forget the lovely food made by Aunty (Manish Mother)- Manish had kept a surprise visit to his new adventure- Vedic Vibes - an absolutely beautiful concept as it merges the local culture and tourism...we wished Manish a great success on this new venture...

It was a business trip of Gk itr under skill India which turn out to magical and peaceful stay at Jamwal villa ....beautiful full place to stay .....clean 4 5 star rooms.....delicious food....cool calm oura around....natural beauty....a new upcoming camping site worth visiting even as a picnic spot....highly recommended...

Homestay silently with very kind families. Thali for dinner was so fantastic especially Rajma and aloo parantha for breakfast.
