With a seating capacity of 132,000, it proudly holds the title of the world's largest cricket stadium. Situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Step into the stadium, and you're greeted by a symphony of sights and sounds.

The sheer size of the stadium, scale of the gallery and architecture of the facade is enough to make your jaws drop.

I had the opportunity to go for a Cricket World Cup Match at this monumental stadium. What surprised me the most here was that, the signage of the stadium was so good, it was literally a breeze to find my seat. All the pillars and Blocks are named and numbered.

That is high Praise for a stadium with 1.3 lakh capacity. Also the view from both upper and lower stands are equally good. What I didn't like was the parking facilities there. Most of the parking lots are more than 500 meters away, which means you have to walk a lot.

You can take the metro to reach here. But funnily enough, even the motera station is like 400 meters away from the main gate.
So walking is compulsory.

Rest of the amenities like drinking water, toilets and food were well arranged.

5/5 Must experience a match here.

Went to watch the historic India Vs Pakistan world cup match. With a crowd of 121000 people. This was by far the best experience ever.

Great stadium It is second largest stadium in the world. The arena replaced the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground as world's largest cricket stadium. Headquarter of the GCA is located in its premises. Modi stadium has 4 dressing rooms, 11 center pitches, and 2 practice grounds which can host practice as well as domestic matches

This is worlds biggest stadium and magnificent cricket ground. This stadium is built different thn other cricket stadium in India. Lights setup for night match is entirely different thn other stadiums in India.

It’s totally worth experience watching cricket match at this stadium. The crowd was cheerful and the atmosphere was eclectic. The stadium was well maintained, the entry exit were pretty smooth. The bathrooms were alright and food service was good at the food joints inside the stadium.

You can reach this stadium through metro or any public transport or by your private vehicle.

Got to witness India Vs Pakistan world cup match on 14th October. The crowd was amazing. The stadium is well organized and the vibe of watching this match was on another level with 1,20,000+ people in the stadium. Hands down the best stadium in the world. Definitely if you get a occasion to watch a match here please grab it. It’s an different experience and totally worth it. All the crowd singing Vande Mataram hit differently. Mindblowing game and experience altogether.

It's definitely says it's name loudly , world's largest stadium with highest capacity of seating. I could watch a world cup international match here. Food & water is not allowed inside but drinking water is available free of cost inside though food is costly. 300ml cold drink will cost 50, a small pizza starting from 100. Clear visibility & with crowd it's even more beautiful. From ahmedabad station just in 200 meter and 5 min walking distance there is kalupur metro station. From kalupur metro you can buy ticket for motera metro which cost just rs. 20 but you need to change metro at old highcourt for another line. 30min it will take to reach motera. Stadium is just next to motera metro with a 5 min walk. Do experience. I was having 10hrs of free time at Ahmedabad so I booked ticket for a world Cup match though I stayed for 5 hrs in stadium.

I had an opportunity to watch IND vs PAK ICC WORLD CUP 2023 in this stadium.

The facilities and security including screening is top class, however, you need to make a note of few things.

- Read the instructions listed on the ticket very carefully. There have been a few instances where spectators had to leave their airpods or other prohibited items outside the stadium.

- If you accidentally took them, DO NOT leave them near the security checkpoint. Instead, go to a nearby store where a permanent shop is located, leave the items there, pay the man an additional amount, and then get the items when the game is completed.

— The metro is the best way to get to the stadium from any area of the city; you may download the "AhemdabadMetro" app from the app store; the stadium is also known as "Motera stadium"

— Never indulge with a local security guard or booking partner; police officials take such behavior extremely seriously and may detain you for violating protocol.

— Try to obtain whatever you want to eat or drink before returning to your seat because the vendor lads will offer you roughly 0.5 times as much of it inside the seating area.

— Until the completion of the game, make sure to keep your ticket on you at all times. You must need to present it whenever you leave the seating area to get a snack and way back to the seating area.

— Make sure the bar code is not tampered before it is scanned; otherwise, you won't be allowed on the premises.

The biggest cricket stadium in the world! The atmosphere you get while watching Indian team play can’t be matched anywhere else! The infrastructure is well maintained and there are enough facilities for everyone to be accommodated properly.

Got chance to see India vs Pak world cup match here. The stadium is world's largest cricket stadium. However the exit has to be managed well as there was no management during exit. Water was provided free which is really worth appreciating. Food cost was too high.
