It's a beautiful lake in Roing on the way to Mayodia pass. The ambiance is very pleasant and peaceful. It seems once upon a time efforts were taken to develop this place as an attractive tourist spot, but for whatever reason that effort was not sustained. There was only one young boy who issues ticket for entry. There is a nice building which looks like a resort but was closed. There is a walkway all around the lake with concrete benches to sit. But these were in need of repairs. There is a viewpoint the road to which is also in need of repair. There are some boats suggesting there was boating services earlier.

It was wonderful and location itself is a treat its a must visit place if you are visiting Roing you can also opt for boating even there is a lodge were you can stay including fooding, this place is surrounded by trees and the lake has wide variety of fish but the fishing is prohibited 🚫

Such a beautiful and silent place, away from the crowd. There is a place to stay and eat too. The lake is clean and full of fishes

Good. But I suggest the people one who visit plz don't put Ur beers, crigarite packs, condom so on. It's beautiful place plz take care of it. If not don't make harm to that place. I am disappointed by looking at that condition... If any one noticed this comment plz take care of it

Not much explored wonder! Must visit for nature lovers! Great for picnicking and short walks. There is an entry fee and a parking space. Grab something to eat and drink, relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful natural lake!

Best place Eva visited accidentally. Friendly people , good food and very affordable.

Sally Lake is a serene & tranquil place full of rejuvenating force for your vital energy and connecting you with your forgotten mother nature. Stand here, sit here, walk here, row your boat of life here, listen to the bottom of your heart here. I bet, you are not going to forget the picturesque surrounding. Else, go to the view point. Be blessed to loss in the enormous sky over the mighty Lohit River. Forget your petty existence in pretty Sally Lake & say : I love you Roing!!!

Heaven on earth. Best thing the place is not modified much and hence it gives a real touch with mother nature.

A very pleasant and calm environment... The chirping of birds and the sound of water attracts every single person's attention

Hi I was here last year and at that point in time, there were hardly any people, so silent and the lake is so clean and there are big fishes in the lake , you will not be able to swim here as it is no allowed, there is boating however for a cheap cost, there is parking lot, and ticket system for the entry to the lake, there is a small hotel nearby once you are exiting to the road, bring your fish feed or some bread, it will really interesting to spend sometime here feeding the fishes.

Mehao Lake is situated 14 kms away from Roing in Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary. Situated at an altitude of 3000 feet, Mehao Lake is a photographer’s delight. Set amidst dense green forest with beautiful flowers and plants, the 4 sq km water body sans fish attracts wild ducks in great numbers. Geologists claim that this lake is Oligotrophic as there is no fish in the lake. Boating facilities are available here. You could go trekking in the forest that has not seen too many footprints of humankind. You are sure to be thrilled by your experience. Mehao Lake attracts tourists from all over, as its serene atmosphere spell bounds visitors.

Super place for peaceful time , do yoga or just observe nature. We went early morning and with no one around, it is like a private garden. Well maintained and very good activity of birds.

Beautiful place... Surrounded by thick green forest..We went there when it was drizzling... Best during raining..
