Went in August mid week. It's inside Cotigao reserve, half and hour inside. No network zone. Less water as rains in Goa had reduced. Yet there was lot of crowd, 4 buses full of people had arrived.
It's an easy trek, just 10 minutes from the parking area to the waterfall. We saw a few waterfall Marshalls posted at the site with banners put up about being careful & cautious. Ropes have been put up for a river crossing during heavy rainfall times. The vicinity is clean, plastic and garbage free and we'll maintained by the locals.
There are a few local home made restaurants in the vicinity put up by the tribal locals.
We were a group of 35 through Green Riders and Trekkers. We had engaged services of one house across the bridge on the way to Mallikarjun temple to make hot onion Bhajiyas and tea for participants. They also sell local monsoon items like Almi mushrooms , Neer Fanas (breadfruit), honey, etc.
It's a good idea to buy from these tribals as it's directly from the farmers. Helps them earn.

Goa is not just for beaches. It's abundant rich forests with flora and fauna are worth exploring and Kuske waterfall doesn't let you down. Drive to the location is one of the most beautiful drives and truly suggest to visit the place. Monsoon is the best time to visit

This place is really beautiful ! Locals over the hardly allow ppl to enter the forest. You have to walk for 4km to reach this destination. 6-7 times river crossing 🚸 this experience was really amazing!!

One of the best waterfall in South Goa tucked inside cotigao wildlife sanctuary. Its a seasonal fall and gets dry completely post monsoon. The best time to visit is june- September. You will have to trek for about 15-20 minutes from parking to witness this amazing waterfall. Forest department has made shades on the way for people to rest of they want. A powerful waterfall hidden deep inside the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. The Kuskem village is about 10-15km far from the entrance of the sanctuary (which is on the Karwar highway). From there it is a 15 minutes walk to the waterfall. The drive inside the sanctuary is very beautiful as you cross the many streams and thick pristine jungles.

It is only active in the rainy season, so plan your visit sometime in August. Kuskem is a small village with narrow roads, which means parking your four wheelers might be a hassle.

A common advice for these adventures is to avoid weekends if you want peace and serenity at the falls. However, the village is peaceful throughout the week. Just where you park your vehicles, a small house serves food - egg, fish, wadas.

For even greater adventure, I would suggest climbing up the hill behind the waterfalls. There is a well marked path which takes you to the top and gives you a far more authentic experience in the rainforest.

12 km from cottigo wildlife sanctuary there is Kuskem village. You will found a beautiful Waterfalls really enjoyed lot.

If u have high authority permission of tourist department u can go but its permanently closed, We went 10th of july .. it was permanently closed.. due to death took place , pls dont waste ur time its closed now. It will be totally waste if u r planning kuskkem falls .. we drove from karnataka but have to go to another falls
U have bhupar falls, bumanbudo falls its worth visiting,

Best waterfall to visit in rainny season

You go here when you want to be a part of nature. The rocks are a bit slippery so you need to be really careful.

Very nice & big waterfall of canacona Taluka in Goa . Everybody should visit here to see during Rainy season!, height of waterfall is very big around 70-80 meters!
Only 10 minutes pedestrians walk from cuskem village where vehicle park , many tourist visits here during season

It's an amazing place to hangout in rainy season into the arms of mother nature... You actually gets a trekking experience while going and best hide for adventure lovers. Good work done by forest department in the vicinity... clean and provided dustbin very possible points...

Tucked away 8kms from the entrance of cotigao wildlife sanctuary, this waterfall is trek is short and refreshing. The trek takes hardly 15 min to reach to the waterfall from the road. Best time to visit during monsoons since the water reduced quite significantly after rains stop. Trek is fairly easy and good for family / friends outings.

Very fine waterfall of Goa situated at the border of 2 different wildlife sanctuaries,Cotigao and Netravali. For the best experience, I would recommend you to visit here during july-August since it will dry up in winter end and also difficult to climb to waterfall. It is adventurous trekking spot for many groups in Goa. You have to pay 20₹ per person to the forest guide present there.
