Premium choice for nonveg lovers! Enjoyed their tandoori fish, chicken kebabs, mutton rogan josh and mutton biryani. With the usual dal makhni and parathas. Chicken chow mein takeout for breakfast also proved delicious.

Best fish in Amritsar undoubtedly. That is the reason the menu expanded from a handful of fish and chicken items to a full blown restaurant menu. Also, the place expanded from a speakeasy tavern to a fully modern and stocked bar with a decent top shelf collection. I took away one star because I definitely loved the old atmosphere more.

Fantastic experience and fantastic food the Fried Fish and butter chicken were delicious. The tandoori chicken was beyond compare, no idea how they can make it so succulent and flavourful.

Tasty food.. amazing service.. fish fried sangara is a must try.. Mutton Rogan Josh is one of my favourites. Clean and hygienic place. There are two places where one can sit with friends and another place with family. They serve liquor at both the places.

Such an amazing experience. One of the best fish fry i ever tasted. Murg Tandoori was tender, delicious and juicy. Ambience is wonderful. Right on main road. Parking issue might be there since it is a busy road. I found service to be bit slow but that might be due to packed house. Rest everything is perfect.

First time tried this hyped place, it was worth the hype. Tried their fish and chicken items from menu all were good. Quick service.

Top notch dinein place. We had a group of 12 people and manager was able to smartly arrange seats for us in peak dinner time. Food is amazing. Chicken achari tikka is worth to mention. Loaded quantities. Kudos to their staff for responding the needs quickly.

The place serves some really delicious food. Both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian options. It’s great value for money. The food is tasty. The service is really quick. The staff is very helpful and suggest the specials. You must have this restaurant on your list of restaurants when you visit Amritsar. We had the standard Butter chicken and Mutton Roghanjosh and were not disappointed. The food was just very well made and super tasty. It was fresh and the meat was tender.

Recently, I indulged in their iconic butter chicken and naan, and the experience was nothing short of heavenly - best so far.

Awesome ambience with decent crowd. At first I was sceptical if we could go with family as the place serves alcohol also. But turns out they have a separate bar and restaurant.
It's mentioned everywhere that the place is cash only but they accept cards also. They place is cash only during peak hours as there is a huge rush and so charging cards is avoided.
You can order drinks in the restaurant as well. All the fear vanished as soon as I stepped in. The staff are very polite and courteous. The place serves jhatka chicken and mutton and they made it very clear when questioned about it.
The food we ordered was prepared fresh and the quality was way above what is served in other restaurants.
Butter Naan was crispy and tandoori fish was delightful. My six year old daughter enjoyed it.
Hyderabad mutton biryani was delicious. My son loves biryani and he was unstoppable. The only drawback was that they don't serve raita or salan with biryani to balance the taste. But the staff immediately brought a bowl of raita when we pointed this out.
The owner was very polite and he addressed the questions very calmly.

Must go place in Amritsar!! One of the best Amritsari Fish..Both fried and grilled fish are yum... Equally good were their Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani and Roti/Nans

A warn, welcoming experience overall.

We arrived before the afternoon service (Post 12pm) and we waited and ordered tea before the kitchen opened.

Naresh ji attended our lunch service excellently, in spite of the rush. The food was prepared within a reasonable time period, given our multiple rounds of ordering food. The fish is prepared with exquisite detail, as we ordered three different variants. It is almost without the odor typically expected with ordering fish in restaurants, and both fluffy and crisp to the texture. It supersedes the chicken, which is prepared at par with the excellent Amritsari style of food. The kulchas, lassi and mushroom dishes can compete with any dhaba you will find in the area, and thus make the experience of going here worth it if one partakes in eating the fish with a few beers. The assorted alcohol choices are very welcome, alongside well prepared fresh lime sodas and other options for non drinkers.

Additionally, the staff are very accommodating of requests, packing food with specifications, providing cutlery and accompaniments like achaar, cutlery etc without question. The prices are very reasonable, and being outside the walled city the road networks are very accessible by car or private / public transportation with limited parking slots.

The restaurant is usually full, as we arrived before service started and still saw a mostly packed restaurant, so fine dining enthusiasts may be served better by establishments further away from the city. However for enthusiasts of River fish, this restaurant is well worth the visit.

One of the best Fish joint in Amritsar. It’s an unbelievable place. Crowd thronging till late night. The food was outstanding. Singara fish fry is delicious. We went 2 days in a row to the place. I usually avoid chicken but the tandoori chicken was delectable. I think the key is small sized chicken unlike bombay and all where they serve huge chickens which are tasteless.
The mutton boti was also excellent. Loved it with tandoori roti.

Not to be missed place for sure

This place is a must visit when at Amritsar. Fried Fish Singhara, Tandoori fish Sohal and Mutton Tikka along with Kulcha are very delicious. Restaurant is quite spacious good for families, groups as well as individuals.
