This is our regular 1 night stop on wards and return for Bangalore to Goa trips. Have stayed here 6 times with Family once with friends.
This is a very clean hotel, with big rooms, good service, good size bed, good interiors and no issue hotel every time. The restaurant is good, not expensive, Very good spread of Breakfast - My kids and we love the number of options.
Best part is the accessibility from the highway and huge parking space. Staff is very courteous- Imran has helped us every time during booking and any requirement during stay.

Very good hotel for stay in Davangere....The rooms are spacious and good, the service is also very good and the best part is their breakfast with variety of items. You name a thing and it is there...so much choice one gets to eat. Lovely restaurant with good service. Totally enjoyed my stay there.

Well located close to highway and within walking distance of shppping and food, this is an excellent option for an overnight stopover between Mum/Goa and Bangalore! Rooms are clean and spacious, price is just right, and the buffet breakfast was ready on the dot of committed time. All buffet items were delicious. Good buffet spread.
A great regular restaurant with room service, and even a multiplex mall adjacent to the premises! Highly recommended 👌

Awesome place to stay. Decent rooms and very friendly staff especially Mr. Sheriff at the restaurant. Their buffet spread is just yum. Stay away from ordering Italian though that’s the first few pages of their menu. That’s not the criteria to judge the taste. Rest of the taste is awesome. Clean and very spacious added with proximity to the city and highway.

We went to the Zest Restaurant attached with Southern Star hotel & it was very good. Nice ambience. Food was very tasty & the service staff was very obliging.

It was a great expierence and to be precise the Attendent Mr.Girish who served us dinner had a fantastic set of suggestions. Fabulous service by him with integrity , deserves a raise . The ambience is good with a silent crowd ; a royal dine in .

A serene location to pamper your needs of privacy - well appointed rooms and delectable poolside bar in the evenings. Very cordial staff and services too. Would be visiting Davangere and will prefer to stay here.

Booked this hotel for transit stay two nights. Above all amenities, ambience and food, this place is to be rated 10/10 for hygiene. Was impressed with the way floor, rooms were kept dust free. My son is allergic to dust and he had no trouble spending good long 2 nights at the hotel. Staff is thoroughly professional, very supportive in fulfilling requests. I would certainly recommend this place for family for stay. One should wake up early in morning and walk on lawn at the backyard you would recall walking on raisina hills 😀.

It was an amazing experience, the staff, the service, food everything was above expectation. I really enjoyed my stay here. Will definitely prefer this hotel when I'm visiting davangere again.

We were in Davangere for my sons badminton tournament and we stayed at Southern Star. It has spacious rooms with new and modern finish. Cleanliness was top class and everything in room and bathroom was working properly. Good quality and spacious wardrobe and storage space, nice fittings and a spacious balcony overlooking a lawn. Food is a bit expensive but quality and quantity is good. Takes a bit more time to serve sometimes. Restaurant is again spacious with good quality seating. Complimentary breakfast has good spread of items. Nothing to complain here. Lots of parking space and entrance is right on main road. There is a mall with movie theatre in the hotel complex. Staff is friendly and helpful. Any small niggles was taken care of immediately.

Highly recommended hotel on this highway, very easy to access from the highway. We stayed for one night in this property in two rooms. Rooms are quite spacious and decently furnished, clean and comfortable. This place has a multi cuisine restaurant that serves very good food.
Value for money

A good business hotel with clean rooms and an outdoor pub with a view. I particularly liked the reception area with minimal decor and they also served water with slices of lemon in it there. Even though the hotel was modestly furnished, you could tell that it’s a old hotel from the exterior design and a few other elements in the interior. I wish the rooms were a bit more well decorated, as the current ones are tad dull or boring, but clean nonetheless. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

We stayed here for 2 days and we had a great experience, we got our rooms upgraded on arrival which was a nice feeling, The Room was equipped with Wardrobe, Iron Table, Study table, Fridge, Electric Kettle, Strong WIFI, Hair Dryer cable TV Connection. The best part of the room was the balcony. The food at the restaurant was good and the service was also good. Recommend this place if you are traveling to Davangere - We paid 3000/Night for a Single Premium Room and Breakfast was included in it.

Had very comfortable stay with my family. The rooms were very clean and staff wore masks and maintained social distancing. The breakfast spread was quite good and special thanks to Sharif who made delicious pan cake for my daughter on request.
