The surrounding landscapes are breathtaking, with scenic vistas, rolling hills, and vibrant flora that create a soothing ambiance. The temple's setting allows visitors to immerse themselves in the serenity and beauty of the natural environment.

One of the highlights of Punya Giri Temple is the presence of waterfalls in close proximity. These cascading waterfalls provide a refreshing and invigorating experience, especially during the monsoon season when they are at their fullest. Ages old temple as old as everything which is at present.

This temple is a replica that we are nature & we'll cherish with it's blessings.

This 7000 year old temple is situated on the elevation of approximately 300 to 400 meters above sea level. You'll just experience enchanting paths which will lead you towards the adobe.

All your five senses will be mesmerized with the postive aura around & will be thrilled with waterfalls all over the place. Fresh stream water which is flowing above marble Shiva Lingam all the 365 days since last 7K years. Yet due to some strong reasons the marble idol has been covered in mid 1970's by the main priest of the temple & now all the poojas are performed to the deity which is placed above the covered structure.

One to to hike more than 275 steps to reach. You'll find lot's of new flora and fauna. Massive trees covered with thick layers of moss, new types of forest fruits and flowers. So many
🐒🐒🐒 so be cautious, don't try to feed or tease or pamper them as they are wild monkeys might attack you. Just ignore them & move ahead.

After reaching the summit you can have breathtaking views of the valley & cool mountain Breeze will mesmerize your senses.

Be careful when descend the summit as the speed will be more.

Check clicks for more understanding.

Try to visit after Karteeka Masam (to avoid huge crowds) from December to March you'll love the wheather too.

Peace n Tranquility

A must visit place for any explorer of nature, history or devotional seeker. Nice path with 300 odd steps leading to a mesmerizing view of S.Kota

Constantly accompanied by monkeys who seem to be less aggressive; probably cause this story pertains to mahabharatha. Pious water, sacred place and devotional ambience makes this attractive. Older generation, knee or heart patients should avoid.

The best temple with full of greenery, waterfalls and mostly Monkeys... It's a challenge to cross the monkeys as they surround us if we carry food.. The greenery is must watch.. There are about 300 steps to climb to reach the temple.. Elders can't climb as there are so many steps...

Its a beautiful place with surrounded by hills. Its a famous for Lord shiva temple, and as per the tales it is said that Pandavas have installed a marble Shiv Ling and water passes through it all 365 days. Presently they have a small Shiv Ling under which Water continously flows. One can go by vehicle upto the foot hill and from there steps are there to reach top. After taking a dip in the water one will just forget all the hardships of climbing. Its a pleasant place to be in with splendid view of the surroundings. There are lot of Monkey's around and better carry a stick. During Kartika month lot of devotees visit from nearby places and whole area becomes very lively.

A very very old and famous shiva temple. It's also one of the top visiting places in skota side. Waterfall is also there in this temple downwards side. Very siddhi shakti ( powerful) temple. If u pray with a true heart here then your wishes also fulfill. The Lord shiva temple. You are not able to go inside the ghraba gudi at any time. Even in festival times also do not enter inside the ghraba gudi. Peaceful place. Beauty of nature.
One more thing is here in this place a lot of monkeys are available so , be careful with your bags, items which you carry etc... Don't fear seeing them, u can just do your work then they also didn't do anything.
