Pahad Mandir (Hanumaan Temple)

The very famous Hanuman temple of Raigarh. Almost 5km away from the city railway station. Has almost 300 stairs to climb up, can be considered as easy hiking. In recent years the temples of Durga Mata and Shiv ji was also constructed. The uphill view gives a beautiful perspective of the Raigarh city considering 180 degree view. The place is calm and pleasant.

This temple built atop the hills is full of natural beauty. There is also a Hanuman temple and Shiva temple. People come here early in the morning for the morning walk. The entire city of Raigarh is visible from it. The light cool breeze you feel at the top of the mountain is astonishing. But try to climb 565 steps to reach the top.thank you.

There is Sankat Mochan Bajrangbali Temple on top of Gaj Mar mountain in Raigad which is known as "Pahad Mandir". It is located inside the city of Raigarh. This place is 4 km away from Raigarh Railway Station. It is one of the best places to spend quality time during your day trip. The tall entrance gate of Sankat Mochan Bajrangbali Temple welcomes us to visit Bajrangboli on the top of the hill.

Curved stairs are built around the hill. The whole way has nice stairs and is covered with cordon all the way up the hill. Sankat Mochan Bajranboli Temple is located on the top of the hill after climbing about 800 steps.

This is Hanumanji & Mahadev Temple This temple is of white color which looks very beautiful. The premises of this temple is very clean and beautiful. Photography and videography is allowed in this temple

A blissful and sacred place to visit with so scenic ambience.so calm and peaceful.these was the second time I visited the place to pay my respect and to surrender to the almighty lord HANUMAN.climbing the steps really makes to feel blessed and fortunate.JAI SHREE RAM

Established in 1980, I have seen this place evolve over last 30 years. As a kid i used to hike to the temple just for fun and then try to come down without using steps. Its a small hill easy to climb in 15-20 minutes. Entire steps are shaded. At the top there are hanuman mandir, shiv mandir and Durga mandir collectively known as Pahad mandir.
At the base you can find local villagers selling flowers and coconuts. Only problem is that there is no place to park at all. The toad leading to steps is so narrow that 2 vehicles are enough to create a traffic jam

Hill view Hanuman mandir in Raigarh, good for young people, as you have to climb up approx 500 stairs to visit here, but believe me, early morning and evening time is best to be here.
