The popular and one of the best eating place with North Eastern delicacies near to Balaji temple. Though this hotel serves both Veg and Non Veg ,We opted for Veg . Being South Indians,we may not cherish the Veg food but this hotel servings are much better relative to other nearby hotels and ambience and hospitality of staff is excellent ! If you are in Guwahati coming to Balaji temple,you sure to visit this place and have nice lunch or dinner!

Probably the one place where you can have fine dining. The food is authentic Assamese cuisine and unlike some restaurants who only focus on ambience, this place takes their taste very seriously. The tenga fish was top pick and the smoked chicken is definitely one of the best that is available in town

The food is great however some items were too oily. Most of the items are well cooked and especially the fish which they make like home food. They give the touch of Assamese home made dishes which is great.
But they should work on their starters part. Very limited options and not that tasty as well. But the main course is really tasty.
The ambience is well maintained and has a lot of seating capacity. During Sundays and festivals a lot of people visit this outlet and due to which the waiting time might increase.
No need for prior booking also if you are visiting this place with 10+ people.

This place serves authentic Assamese Cuisine. If you are in Ahom Gaon, near ROYAL GLOBAL UNIVERSITY/ ISBT you must visit this place once.

Wanted to taste authentic cousine of Assam and we reached the right place. The place is so spacious and big with bamboo and cane themed. Awesome Assam thali was served to us on heavy brass plates. We ordered fish thali. There is pork thali and chicken thali too. We ordered another pork dish along with that, which was awesome too. For topping up our delight an awesome milk kheer also got served as sweet dessert.

I had asameese food at a friend's home. This food was authentic and similar to that style and taste. Smoked pork was amazing. So were the thalis. I highly recommend the thalis and additionally u should indulge in some of their exotic non-veg side dishes! Btw, their veg cuisine is also delectable.

Whenever I visit Assam I always make it a point to visit Delicacy. In these many years the taste and service quality hasn’t changed a bit.

Must try: Pork with bamboo shoots and axomiya thali

Nice place and the quality of food and staff, all are good.

The best ethnic restaurant in the area, rates are also reasonable, parking and panshop are also available, can enjoy lunch and dinner with family.

So this was my 2nd visit to this dhaba. No doubt it's a good place to try out Assamese cuisine. Sufficient place for parking and can be easily noticed from main road. Tried the fish thali.
Staff was good and placed was maintained well and felt hygienic. Sure place to visit with your family and friends when in guwahati.

Delicious food in a very nice setting. The pork thali and veg thali were delicious, especially the yellow dal, pork curry and patot Diya pork. Not cheap but worth it.

Great Assamese food at a reasonable rate. Good ambience on the Guwahati bye pass road opposite to ASTC.
