Best ground for morning walk and athletics. Most athletes and job aspirants get benefitted from this one and only public stadium in our city Katihar.

It's a nice place to go for running which is the main purpose of this ground for the citizens of Katihar. There are various categories of people who come to this ground at different times.
1st. Old age group - They will come for a nice walk in the morning as well as evening and after 1-2 rounds, they will start having a chat with each other which makes a good environment.
2nd. Mid age group - They will have their own different schedules. They will do multiple activities like walking, yoga, prayers and chit chatting.
3rd. Young age group - They are the most active ones. Which is quite obvious. Their purpose is to run, play cricket, football, Badminton (They bring their own rackets). And much more.
4th. Child age group - They will just come to the ground and that's it. They will play anything with their whole heart and win everyone's attention.

Facilities available - There is a sports room available in the stadium, but sports equipments are not available which is need of the hour for the people and children of Katihar. District administration should provide sports facilities like Badminton, Table Tennis, etc in the Rajendra Stadium Sports complex so that people can enjoy as well as work on their Body through the games and keep their brain activities alive.

The stadium is a venue for football, cricket tournaments, fairs & exhibition. It is used mostly for association cricket matches and the stadium is named after the first President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad.It is situated in the heart of the town. There are many cricket clubs here. Many boys and girls come here for there skill development in cricket.

The  Rajendra Stadium is located in  Katihar, Bihar.You can easily go there. Changing room and parking is available here. The stadium has sitting capacity of 10000 to 15,000 people. The stadium is a venue for football tournaments, cricket tournaments, political events, fairs & exhibition.

Best stadium in katihar I know that there are many more stadiums but I have experience that this is the best multi purpose stadium for running , walking , cricket , long jump it has two sand pits one pole for climbing a stage from where we can get the clear view of train and over bridge a cricket pitch in the middle where big cricketets have played state level match and districit level matches it contains four cricket nets for normal kids playing and the last and best thing in it is a perfect kabbadi pitch.
