It's a kuladeivam koil situated in a vast area filled with trees. Paanakkaram is offered to Gods. Marikkolunthu is offered to God. A calm quiet serene temple. Pujas are done by pujari. People offer their hair to God. We packed food and spent the whole day there under the shady neem and tamarind trees in the mandap. Water is availabe in plenty. Really we enjoyed our Get Togeter there. Malaiamman temple is kuladeivam temple to two/three friends who were with us that day. So they did puja and gave us paanakkaram and marikkozhundhu as prasadam.

Wow this is a beautiful and powerful temple visited this month after 25 years. Temple well is iconic.
Temple is vast. Temple is on full celebration in thai masam 1st of every year.
