Lilasons Walking Plaza

Lilasan Walking Plaza is a clean, beautiful, tree-lined and pedestrianized promenade in the heart of Aurangabad city.

Crowds are seen here from early morning till 9 pm. Walking Plaza is a boon for people who come for morning walk in the morning, people who visit the walking plaza for various reasons throughout the day, senior citizens who come to relax their legs in the evening.

Fresh and pure vegetable market is available nearby. A little further away is the temple of Lord Maruti, Ganpati and Lord Sri Rama.

Railway Station and Central Bus Station are within a call away. After coming here, the mind is happy.

Various trees, creepers, vines here are green for twelve months. After all, the city dwellers attach great importance to the walking plaza or the walking plaza is the first choice of the citizens of the city.

It is not very crowded . Liaisons walking plaza has both paved track and mud track. One can walk/jog on these tracks. Trees planted in the area are growing. Water tanks are provided at multiple locations. Cantonment board appeals citizens to donate a tanker for a day. There are benches for people to seat and relax. Also, a play area is allocated. Where people were seen to be playing volleyball. I was glad to note provision of net to stop the ball from going to the track.

Jusr beside the RTO office on the way to railway station. Nice track to have walk or run. Sometimes young flirting couples are also spotted but the elders watch keep them composed.

It's the best place for joggers n walkers. Lots of trees but they r just 5 years old. Older tress albeit less r approx 10 years old. It has paver block track of approx 400 meters and mud track of approx 500 meters. There is no official parking but there is ample space by the road which can be used for parking. LWP has fencing from all sides. No menace of beggars and hooligans. Police patrol is there as per their duty hours.

This is a great discovery in Aurangabad. Free to enter, it has two parts: the first is a curvy paved trail among mature trees, the second a gravel/dirt path among young trees they are nurturing. I'd estimate each part about 450 meters. I got a great jog in. The place is popular with walkers (go Aurangabad!) but not a problem to run. There are posted hours in the morning and late afternoon (5-7pm in Jan/2017). I don't know what happens if you entered at other times.

this walking plaza is equipped with lots of trees and also a good walking track is available here and the special thing of this walking plaza is here's dense forest which is made based on Japanese Miyawaki method
