Jayanti Devi Dam

Jayanti Dam is the best place to get peace of mind. I visited here with my family. Very Cool, Calm and Peaceful place. If you are visiting Jayanti Devi temple. You should also go this dam. Fantastic Sunset View from Jayanti dam. Nice place for outing nearby Mohali and Chandigarh. Wonderful nature loving place. Awesome views and nice place for picnic.

Jayanti devi dam was built around 2010 after displacing a village to a nearby location. It's currently used for irrigation purposes. About 15-20kms from Chd, it's a nice weekend getaway, near Jayanti Devi temple. There are small treks/hikes around the dam

it was an awesome experience visiting Jyanti devi Dam, first i thought it would be a kind of normal dam but it is a fabulous picnic spot for married and for unmarried romantic couples. along with beautiful view you find peace of mind and relaxing environment here. no filthy places or no garbage it was a best place to stay for 4-5 hours, i really loved it. highly recommend.

Please prefer early morning time for visit. Love this place, not so far from Chandigarh. Must visit place...better than sukhna...

Nice and calm place with good views. The road connectivity is bit OK OK but it's fine. If you visit Mata Jayanti Devi Mandir then you should visit Jayanti Devi Dam too. And one more official thing about this place that nobody knows, Photography is prohibited here. Well if nobody is there then you can take pictures.

The beat place to enjoy a cycle ride near chandigarh

I recently visited here on my bicycle 🚲. It is located very near to chandigarh. Travelling by bicycle would be best as in way there is very good built up of roads. One can also enjoy the scenic beauty of small mountains and villages which come in way. Dam is normal but ✌ ✌ peace is one thing that attracts people here. Few people also prefer to do fishing 🎣 here as a sport. You can plan your visit spontaneous Also as it will not require much expense and time go.

Breathtaking view with fresh air and best place to view sunset. Do visit with your friends and family. Road condition is not that good, single way road from khuda lahora. You will get village feeling with fresh and clean atmosphere. Best for cyclists and morning walk.

A beautiful and lovely place nearby chandigarh out of the rush of city. You can choose this place as a a picnic spot. But there are no shops nearby to shop. So be prepare and shop goods in advance. Here is also a historical temple of Maa Jyanti Devi, called "Jyanti Devi Temple".

Beautiful, peaceful , scenic place. Roads to reach are not so good, but after reaching the place you will be satisfied for all your sufferings on the way

Jainti Dam is awesome location near the foothills of Mohali Hills. The place near to the Chandigarh and Mohali is the hidden beautiful place. Many Farm houses has sprang up due to its approach near city and ofcourse the beauty of surroundings

This 93 steps to the top dam (without any power generation) is few minutes away from Jayanti Mata Mandir & the Pracheen Shiv Mandir. It's reservoir is seen well from the Jayanti Mata Mandir. People visit this too after visiting both the temples. A peaceful and isolated place. Jayanti Mata Mandir is visible from the dam top.

Peaceful and serene! You will find a lot of cyclist groups here in the morning.
